I have heard that you can put a blacklight on a tab of acid and it will glow if it is present. But i have also heard that if an rc is present it will still glow. Besides licking a tab to see if it tastes like shit or not, or eating a tab to see what happens, is there any way to know its lsd? I see some testing kits online which supposedly tell you if lsd is present or not. But I have read mixed reviews on this also. Does anyone have real knowledge on this matter?
The ehrlich test kit tests for LSD. All comercially availble test kits have some limitations and ehrlich is no different. The test kit should eliminate the possibility of all PEA'S. So you could count out DOx, nbome, and Bromo dragonfly, some of the more commonly reported acid adulterants. There are still some chems that fit on blotters like 5-meo-amt, moxy, and perhaps other lysergamides the test may not differentiate but probably the only one of concern from those is 5-meo-amt, moxy needs several mgs to get even light effects so I doubt that's passed off as acid.
Thank you for that info. It's my understanding that the PEA's are the most common adulterants any way right? Or is 5-meo-amt also common?
I recall only one instance of someone on here claiming they got 5-meo-amt sold to them as acid and that was during the pre-nbome years. I think the Nbome and Dox chems are the most common adulterants. The reason that I suggested 5-meo-amt should be of concern is not because it's a common adulterant but because from what I have heard the physical effects are significantly worse than LSD for some.
