    Hello all..

November 2011 I was diagnosed with Stage IV brain cancer, terminal. They gave me a year... to fourteen months. I'm still alive and kicking.

One nurse told me I should try MM... right now, due to complications
from my chemo/radiation/steroids... my bones have softened to the point
where they fracture easy.. have one shoulder currently fractured.

Of course they have me pumped up full of percocet - vicodan, and other
synthetic drugs. I thought of giving MM a serious try. I'm really not a fan
    of these painkillers.

Any advice on dealing with pain... anxiety... and I just want to be free
of mind and spirit again. I had a friend give me a bit of MDMA powder and
it helped quite a bit - of course I moved away to be with familiy and am back on the percocet again.

My condition is not going to be any better... but I'm looking to enjoy and test boundries and live a quality life with what I've got left..

    please, any advice?

I don't know too much about opiates, but my guess is that MM is probably a healthier option if it succeeds in easing the pain

I don't know much about mdma either, but you might prefer mda, which I think has similar effects minus the high energy

your doctor should probably know what drugs you plan to take

you might want to check out chinese medicine/acupuncture. could help with the pain and with things generally

a meditation/tai chi/ qi going practice might help you.

I'd say yoga too, but most yoga forms are pretty physical, and if your bones are brittle it probably wouldn't work out

seeing a therapist might be helpful. connecting with family and friends might help.

I don't know if there are particular on-line communities for people facing serious illnesses, but I bet there are

you can probably get some support from folks here too, but just be warned that there are some folks here that will make smart-ass comments.

you might want to visit a qi gong master who lives in sterling heights. I don't know what he charges for a healing session, but you might want to look into it.

I got a treatment from this guy once. pretty similar experience for me to getting reiki.

in other words, I felt some sensation, and it felt pretty good, but I can't really prove that it did anything

the story on this qi gong master is that he was an akido champion in japan, and started using his abilities for healing when his daughter had a brain tumor. allegedly he cured her.

you may find alternative treatments helpful, but I don't mean to say it's going to be a cure for you. you may like trying this out though

hope that things can start getting better soon!

Thanks for the info, been on a steady Percocet diet from this pain, the
problem is that it's stopping working.. talked to my doctor about addiction
and well, we both agree that getting the most out of my time left is best...

just being able to dance again is great....now I just need to dump the anxiety.

    Ideas? Of course.

Smoke that shit. It's good for you, and feels good too.

As for something that's not good for you, but couldn't hurt.... I suggest MDMA. Or MDMA+LSD.

*edit* I actually didn't see that you'd done MDMA.... but it's not a painkiller or everyday type thing. A good dose combined with a good dose of LSD would probably be a worthwhile experience.
