ok.. so i'm with this girl for almost a year now and i love her.. Last month we had unprotected sex the day her periods got over.. it just happened, i know it was stupid! she took a pill and vomitted an hour after taking it and the pack said you should take another one if you vomit within 3 hours! but she told me about this incident the next day and i made her take another one within 48 hours! so her periods were due on 11th this month(dec) and its 15 already she still hasnt got it. She took a home pregnancy test today which came negative! around the 24th of november .. she bleed a lil but that was too little to be her cycle thing! (PS. 2 months back she had got it a week late.. could it be the same issue??) I'm worried.. and she is too! it kills me to see her this way.. could she be pregnant?
if you had sex the first day her period was over, the chance of her being pregnant is very, very low. you're almost certainly in the clear.
Don't screw with her endocrine system dude. You don't know how to safely perscribe medication. EDIT: Anyway you'll find out if she is or not. Start making plans and assume she is and don't freak because that won't help things.
Congrats Daddy!!!! The part I have highlighted was mostly implantation bleed, quite common in early pregnancy. The embryo embedding in the uterus wall. Congrats again!!:afro:
To all those who put up negative replies and to future readers who would be a little worried She got her periods yesterday and shes fine
You can keep yourself from getting your period my stressing out... stress hormones fuck with your other hormones Otherwise put her on the pill or use a condom or something.. or don't have sex until you can accept the responsibilities for it.
I believe the morning after pill can fuck up someone's period. So there's your explanation..The hormones in birth control pills and Plan B are HORRIBLE for your body and mess up your system.
I ONLY get my period because of my birth control pills. They've done nothing but good for me, including regulate my cycle (which is not possible for my body to normally do), keep my weight off and help me to stay less irritable (something that antidepressants were never able to do), among other things
I guess they effect people differently. I've heard a lot of horrendous horror stories though. I was on them for about 2 months a few years ago and they made me have crazy side effects. I felt like complete shit. Then they caused my depression to worsen, yeah. I spiraled into a severe depression and it was out of control. I wish I would have read about possible side effects before ever starting bc OR my doctor should have warned me I could have side effects. But what do they care? They're in it for the money...doctors & pharmaceutical companies both.
I have extremely bad ovarian cysts to the point where my body stopped producing female hormones almost completely and I stopped getting my period and pretty much started developing like a man, it was really gross, so I take birth control as a form of hormone replacement
Alright, so yeah, it's giving you the right amount of hormones you need. In a person who doesn't have this problem, it gives them hormone overload and their body goes haywire.
