Okay, so as most of us Americans know, the right to bare arms is being questioned, and I was just hoping if someone could help me with a little research. Now, I'm trying to figure out how I could go about proving that since the "Gun Ban" has been gaining momentum; the percent of published stories of gun related deaths, and mass murders i.e school, mall, or theatre style shootings, has increased dramatically I know the games, when something isn't popular, they stop at nothing to make it popular. It's text book fear mongering, so I figured the "conspiracy" section was the most relative place for this. Sorry, I'm no investigator, but I'm really interested in the actual numbers behind this, as I feel it could wake some people up!

I don't think the issues with gun control are a conspiracy. I think people are ignorant of how much violence guns contribute in the United States, and they're too selfish to give up their hunting rifles for the sake of public safety.
It's not selfish... it's a Constitutional Right. The founding fathers had much to say about our guns, and most of all they urged us to watch out for this sort of thing. We gave up privacy for the sake of "Public Safety" now we have TSA molesting people, stealing our belongings and down rights degrading people. It's the fact that one by one, losing these rights can't hurt us, but cumulatively we're going to be heading down a long road of tyranny. Guns are destructive, we all know this. In the hands of the wrong person, they're bad. On the other side, guns are beneficial, and a good hearted person with a gun, is equally as powerful as a corrupt man with a gun. In China, there was a school stabbing of 20 children, it doesn't matter what you regulate, people are sick, and will continue to be. Would you think it was selfish to not give up free speech if someone was going around swearing in front of kids in schools? no, that's ridiculous. The circumstances obviously aren't the same magnitude of a school shooting, but hopefully you understand what I'm saying. I'm not trying to argue, but America is already in a bad place. We are on the verge of Revolution, slipping economy (around the globe), 60 million people on welfare, left and right wing politics somehow have ended up being both left, one with a little less government than the other. We have off shore federal banks, corporations can donate to candidates, because that's free speech... all I'm saying is the signs aren't good. Nor is our future. The founding fathers had to fight for their freedom, now it's our turn to do the same, to insure our children, and their children will have a life that they deserve... A free life.
So should we ban everything else that kills people on an everyday basis? Here is a challenge for you: THINK!!
All you gun people don't need to worry. No matter how many people die, sadly this is America, your guns are not going to be taken away. You think that somehow they protect you from the government with there tanks and missals and army. They don't care if you have a pistol from Walmart, they still hold the advantage. The reason you are seeing such a spike in gun violence is very simple: The CIA/ secret branches of government are using devil's breath on these people. The whole purpose is to scare all you gun nuts and create the situation we have now.
OP - correct me if i'm wrong, but did you actually just make a post asking for numbers to back up a claim that you know to be true, despite having no data to prove the truth of that claim at all? find and analyze the data first, form your conclusions based on that. NOT the other way around.
Haha, it certainly seems like that. I have been compiling information, but I was having a problem with the statistics I had already found, and was really asking for help, only if someone was interested in helping. It's not that I made a bold claim, and had nothing to support it, it's just the first time I've dug this deep on anything. At the moment from what I've gathered; since the beginning of December there's been about a %45 increase of publicized gun deaths that have broadcasted on mainstream media. And that %45 is being held back since November.
