I think there's a thin line between what should be posted in the whiners forum and what should be posted in random thoughts...hard to determine sometimes, I guess.
Anyways, curious if you're single? Cuz 'pussywhipped' is such a horrible term to use...kind of degrading. I don't believe the ladies would fancy it very much.
Just a curious observation.
If you're attached, then how do you keep 'your woman' from 'pussywhipping' you?

 

I imagine if he was single, this thread wouldn't exist. When did common sense become so obsolete?

 

Also curious what you think entails being pussywhipped. I don't mean this as an attack, I'm just honestly curious. Psychology of relationships and human view points interest me.

well, i'm single and i find pussywhipped people to be kind of annoying too. although my only facebook friend that comes anywhere close to killing me is the waitress who keeps thanking god for her tips instead of the people who, you know, gave her the tips.

Actually, I'm just curious what people think being 'pussywhipped' means. I can see it being interpreted differently. I can see one guy telling another that he is pussy whipped just cuz his gf asked him to take the trash out and he did it or if he picks up something for her at the store. Even if he turns down a night out with the guys to stay in with his chick- Ya know what, that's not being pussy whipped, it's called being a good boyfriend..

 

eh, it's really pretty hard to define. specific examples would vary depending on the relationship. i guess i basically see it as when the guy sacrifices significantly more than the woman does, or does a lot of things that just conflict with who he really is for the woman.

i'm really not satisfied with that definition, but i can't think of a better way of describing it at the moment. i'll let you know if someone does a better job of defining it than i did.

 

When the effort put in by the guy is completely disproportionate to the effort put in by the girl; when he agrees to forced changes to his fundamental nature; when his desire NOT to be alone is manipulated and twisted against him; when he actually puts her interests ahead of his own in the vain and unfulfilled hope of some vague physical interaction....then he is pussywhipped.
