I have heard that continued use of a vibrator on the clitoris can cause a desensitization to occur. Thus making clitoral orgasm next to impossible.

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Personal experiences or comments?

I'd be interested to know...but then wouldn't overstimulation by tongue do the same thing?

Modern medicine says that no, it shouldn't cause any permanent damage.

Only severe burns and physically cutting of nerve cells (spinal injuries sometimes) can cause this loss of sensitivity.

On the other hand I have heard of this happening and one gal pal of mine says her sensitivity is not like it used to be after she went through a nympho stage.

I don't think it would permanently damage,..but when you rely on penis you'll certainly lose some of the sensitivity..:)

Desensitization does seem to happen. Been there. Not permanent.
Sometime ya gotta ease up your vibe use.
