Hi, im 16 too Im glad to see im not the only one my age. most people I know have completely different views to me, around my school im known as the "stoner" and most people see it as a bad thing, oh well there choice (More weed for me )
there are a lot of potheads at my school,so most of the kids don't really mind, but i wouldn't care if they did where are u from? Hahahhaha, hell yeah!
Oh, that sounds like a cool combination. How could I describe Nebraska... It's right in the middle of the country, it's really hot and humid in the summer, it snows a lot in the winter.. We're known for growing corn (I don't know if you'd like to know that). I think it's beautiful here if you live in the country, but I like my city because it has a lot of history. I live in the immigrant part of Omaha, and right now there's a large Hispanic population. I'm a combination of a city girl and a country girl Here's some pictures of rural areas. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sK_HAOyH5A0/Tzk2SENBdbI/AAAAAAAAMzU/RQHgMgc0n-E/s600/si [IMG]http://api.ninWZbyQfGQJ4LwF8eCbmRxpqj3KzBfZqDbs1ykF/RuralNebraskaFarm.jpg
Here's some pictures of my city. Downtown area http://pics4.ci Old Market, Downtown. It's a fun place to hang out, but the shops are very expensive. [IMG]http://nebraskalocations.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/omaha-old-market-6108-am-sunday-ja I live in the south part of the city, so everyone calls it South Omaha or South O. Here are a few of the landmarks of the area. South Omaha once had a large population of Bohemians (or Czechoslovakians, whatever) [IMG]http://bohemiancafe.net/images/ [IMG]http://farm5.staticflickr.com/407
The stadium was torn down recently, despite many protests and an attempt to make it a historic landmark. It was the home of the baseball College World Series, now we have a stadium downtown for it. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2169/20203507 [IMG]http://www.ballparkreviews.co The stockyards are the reason for so much success in South Omaha, and the high immigrant population. They don't actually have a livestock exchange anymore, but the building is still there. We still have many meat packing plants, which makes for lots of jobs and very unpleasant smells. [IMG]http://www.ashlandhistoricalsociety.org/siteimages/Livestock%20Exch%20Bldg.%20and%2 We have so many old buildings and neighborhoods, and the rural areas are beautiful. I honestly can't do it justice. And sorry for so many pictures, but it was the only way I could think of to describe it. What's it like in Madrid?
wow,it's beautiful! if i ever get the chance to go to the states i will definitely visit Omaha well Madrid is great, but doesn't have any rural areas, just some parks but nothing like the fields in Nebraska. There're different areas : the city center, which is always crowded, lots of shops and cafes. There're this big parks called ''Casa de campo'' and ''Retiro'' which are fine, but I prefer forests and mountains, you know something not that artificial. My favourite part of town is ''Paseo del prado'' where are located the art galleries,is just gorgeous.I live in Getafe, which is near the city center, and it's like a neighbourhood, used to be a village, and the main landmark is one of the oldest spanish military air bases. The urban areas are way better here than in Bulgaria, but I definitley love the nature and beaches there. What's your name?
We get a good combination here because Omaha is a medium-sized city. Madrid sounds pretty cool; although if I went there, I'd have to make my Spanish speaking skills a little better. I'm Anna.
Don't worry,it's an easy language to learn and the people here are very kind. I'm Maria . What do you like to do in your free time?any hobbies?
