Snow in London :)

Only an inch or two but its still snowing now.. I must have missed it on the weather forecast though because I dont remember hearing about it..

Anyone else wake up to snow?

I like snow for about three days. Then I'm done with it.

 

I had to ride my bike through it! We don't get a lot of snow here either so when it snows I can't get enough of it. I rather always have snow and ice in winter since it's chilly already anyway!

 

I looked out of my window today and thought "looks like snow in the air".
It didnt fall tho.

I think we went for about 4 or 5 years without it in England.
Its great fun going out in it. Especially trying to run thro drifts and stuff - like on Rocky 4 in Siberia! hehe

I'm too much like a kid with it. lol

 

Its in the lo 80s f and upper 50s f over night . Arizona does see a little snow in the high country Flagstaff , Prescott , ect. desert rat

We had a lot of rain the past day or so because the temperatures were in the 40's. If it had been colder we would have a several inches of snow.

I like snow OK as long as it does not get too deep. I grew up in Syracuse NY and lived in Ithaca NY for 40 years and we counted snow in feet not inches..... Now that I am older I prefer it to be in just a few inches. What I really don't like is all the ice we tend to get here in Ohio. After two hip replacements I have a fear of falling and ice does not help that situation.

We’ve already had snow twice this year but it didn’t amount to very much.

On average we get about 65 inches of snow a year. Two years ago we had over 100 inches, last year we had around 10 inches (warmest winter ever recorded)

I saw the first fellow cyclist for this winter go down on the icy road. Actually it was kind of my fault because he had right of way. I was faster though and he had to hit the brakes too hard and thus slipped

 

We pretty missed out on Sandy that was further south in NY and NJ

I love winter but only when it's real winter, not some lame extension of autumn :biggrin:

 

It doesn't snow here that often. A couple of years ago it snowed twice all winter. That was record snowfall. I do love it when it snows, everything completely shuts down because no one has any clue how to drive in it here
