I am looking to make some TRUE friends. Been cooped up for awhile, because of hardship and physical disability. I am changing my way of life, and I am getting better; so I want to get out and develop some bonds. See my introductory post here. If I sound like someone you would like to know, holler back. I have also been striving to change my way of life. I'm really interested in sustainable living, natural healing, permaculture, giving back to Mother Earth. Have been interested in medicinal herbs for a while, quit all presc. drugs coupla yrs ago and mainly use cannabis as my only medication. Just moved to Va from Fl and dont have many friends here, main reason is i grow my own medicine and dont wanna bring people to my place so i mainly stay cooped up,alone,which is not good for me as i suffer from depression among other things. I am 60, long time divorced, laid back, easy going. Currently working as intern at a small nursery here trying to learn all i can about growing my own organic food, medicines,etc. Spent a few months on an herb farm in N.C. growing Chinese medicinal herbs but had to leave b4 finishing. Am really interested in moving to a state where i can grow my medicine legally. I too am looking for a piece of land i can own and would like to find someone like you maybe to partner with as i dont have lotsa exp. in sustainable living but am a quick learner and i am a pretty good gardner-can grow some wicked bud in my bedroom closet but living in fear of getting busted is taking a toll on me. I live on a monthly disability check, not a lot but enuff to get by on and have a little savings, probably could swing a loan for some property if i knew where to go. As I am older now I dont have the courage as i used to have to just throw all to the wind and take off-many times in the past i have headed out west with no more than a backpack and 20 bucks- but things today are much diff. and way more scarier than in the early 70's. As you can see i also tend to ramble, so i'll cut this short and end saying i could really use a like minded friend. I live in Dinwiddie county Va, close to Richmond.
