I do love my loopies. Only thing I've noticed is the hair above and below is locking but the loops are still soft hair like my ends. It's probably normal though :p I'll try and get some good loopy pics on my next update. The camera doesn't do my hair any justice, I met a friend from hipforums a few days ago and he said that my hair looks so much better in person

Palm rolling doesnt do anything. And the loops are the hair dreading itself and deciding where to go, it is all natural and not a problem to have loops. I personally love my loopy dreads, they just have so much character than my straighter dreads.

Most of mine are like that, the thinner dreads have some crazy loopy patterns going on. I do love them, they can be annoying sometimes but usually that's just because people think my hairs messy rather than dreading. But someone said 'wow, your making me wish I had dreads again' and after talking to him I found out he brushed after 8 years because was struggling to get a job, 2 months after brushing he opened his own business anyway!!

    Loopyyyys lovesssss

Dyed it purple ;) practically 3 months now yayyyyyy.. pictures dont do my hair any justice at all, plus the cameras shite because it my phone, but its dark purple going into like a bright plum at the ends, its pinky/purpley IRL. Still wet though and I've not ripped yet as I'm waiting until the morning, havent ripped in about 2 weeks, literally not looking forward to it lol. Will properly update next week on my 3 month-iversary

NICE! so you finally dyed it purple. What brand did you use? It looks good. I can't wait to dye mine but I am going to stick with black for a couple more weeks.I can't tell if it is the camera but it looks like the colour gets lighter on the bottom, I think that looks awesome.

Yeah, I used 'mystic purple' on the top/main part which looks like a dark purple with almost a pink tint, then on the ends I used directionz 'lavender' mixed with 'cherise' which i had left over from ages ago. The darker bits permanent but the light bit isn't so I can change the colour of the ends whenever it washes out :D ..I used live dye, I'm in the UK so not sure if anywhere else has it. But i gave in during my food shop, saw it and just bought on impulse :p

Thanks :D the ends are all whispy, middle bits are half and half (some are matted, some are still fairly soft) but up at the roots every single dread is matted and knotted, they feel mature at the top but probably arent, truth be told i have no idea what mature locks are supposed to feel like lol!

3 months... Ive had SO much shrinkage..i wish you could see them properly but my camera is so crap.. loops x1000..

    Hereeee..

To show shrinkage, my hair was longer than.the random long strand 3 months ago. Most of it now is around my collar bone, it was at my hips/waist before..all have shrunk.except that random long one..

    Major fuzz matting..
