if you're paying rent and expenses anyway, why not just move out?

Usually, mom's house is much cheaper. But time to get out of there.

And there's the crux right there.....be thankful for the cheap rent, and cooperate with her. The less she gets in your face, the less you'll be annoyed.

I understand, I have benn in that sitation. I think even though you pay rent and take of your self. Being under her roof it is just an instict to bitch about everything, room, laundry cleaning bathroom , etc...mother's think they are helping, but when really they are just annoying as hell

    Good Luck Man !

550 isn't that much, but it depends on ho much you make. maybe you could get a place with a roommate for ~300 each?

jmt you post a thread like this a couple times a year and it's always the same thing.

It's your Mom, it's her place, respect her regardless.
Clean your room, wash your dirty dishes, and be thankful you've got a place to stay for low rent and give moms a big hug n kiss .

Remember, she's your Momma, she's gonna nag you to pick up your dirty underwear even when you do get your own place. :p

    Exactly.

Why would you leave your dirty underwear lying around anyway?

    :D

It doesn't end when you move out. I'm in my friggin fourties and my mother was in my house this evening throwing stuff out and rearranging and cleaning. When I suggested it was late and that maybe she should think about going home, she said she doesn't want to because my fake stepfather is too annoying, she'd rather hang-out at my place and torture me.
