OK smartypants, what did YOU get out of what he said? Religions don't talk about aliens, they just talk about gods and how they came from the heavens. Not one religion says "Aliens". So, go ahead, enlighten us then... What DID he mean then? :afro:
ok, like i have said in earlier posts on here, yes aliens exist. i saw a ufo up close. i was a non-believer for awhile, thinking that one of them would've made it to earth at some point, and if what they say of how they look etc. that the odds of their evolution to be anything like us whatsoever would be astrononical. but alas i saw for myself, w/ my own eyes. they exist end of story
life does exist. we're here, aren't we? if there's billions of other more advanced civilizations out there, who's to say there aren't billions of better versions of earth that they are even more interested in, such that they haven't bothered with our shitty earth yet?
That's the first sign of intelligent life... they have stayed away from us LOL.. But yes... There are millions of microbes that have been discovered that come from who knows where.. Those ones that came on the comets and meteorites.... :afro:
It's a statistical certainty that they do exist. Whether they've made it here or tried to make contact, is another matter entirely. The human race still needs to evolve quite drastically before it could make first contact without trying to destroy the other race out of fear. The primary reason for aliens to visit us at our current stage in development, would be for resources... whether they could do that with or without wiping us out, who knows.
no lol they'd visit us for many reasons, not necessarily resources. why do we study bacteria? TO LEARN
Who is saying they haven't? They might have already been, killed you, and you are simply a carbon copy of yourself? Or they took samples while you were sleeping... They don't need to let us know they are there for that. :afro:
Wasn't it then we are ALL aliens? Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus? Or whatever the fuck that book was called... Long time ago that book came out... Seemed it was a best seller.. Never got around to reading it myself though... So... We're all Aliens....! :biker: :afro:
Well - if you want to tie it directly to extra-terrestrial origin. A contender in the theory for the kick-off of evolution is that we originated as bacteria on a comet. We are all star dust, at the very least, so we ARE aliens
Very true... It's been theorized that life on this planet originated from the primordial ooze, that essential came from some sort of meteor... So my big question with that is how did life originate where the meteor came from? Blows your mind when you think of it that way... So much we don't know, and well will probably never know.. (at least in my lifetime unless they solve the whole immortality thing before then) :afro:

That idea that life was brought hear from space is called panspermia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panspermia . Then there is the bigger question of how it orgionated from where it came in space . Then there is also " loosh " , found by Robert Monroe while out of body . Robert Monroe found that all life on earth was planted hear as a kind of farm to make loosh . Like the milk cow , to quote Monroe .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Monroe http://dhost.info/waterput/random/loosh-perspective.htm http://brontebaxter.wordpress.com/loosh-101-tracking-the-crack-in-the-universe/ http://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?pid=38562 http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=loosh desert rat
Interesting.... Oh and to comment on the above post about comets being water, ice, frozen gases etc... Where do you think the components of life are found? In water So... It is quite conceivable that it did originate... And of course... Some cosmic ooze somewhere in the middle or far reaches of the universe is a pretty interesting concept.... :afro:
