I recently stretched to 2g (about 2 weeks ago)... the other night woke up with one of my tunnels pulled through my right ear. it didn't really hurt, it was just a bit uncomfortable. i had to pull it out the back side to get it out. again, no pain, just a bit of discomfort. just to see if i could, i gave the tunnel on my left ear a tug and pulled it out the backside pretty easily... no discomfort at all. i think the discomfort in my right ear may have been due to me sleeping most of the night with the flare halfway inside my ear.

anyway, my question is, should i go up to 0s? i thought 2 weeks was too soon, but my ears seem ready... my first few stretches went pretty fast (even jumping a size in one instance, and no i didnt force it. the next side up was legitimately too small), but then it normalized to 3-4 weeks as the jewelry got larger.

It should be ok, this happened to my boyfriend when he stretched to 12mm, the tunnels fell out and he tried 14mm and they fitted perfectly :)

You should always let your ears fully heal before beginning stretch (which is longer then 2 weeks). Don't skip sizes, especially once you begin to get into larger sizes (they begin to get more dangerous to skip around 0g-00g) Use bondage tape or ptfe to stretch your ears and always lube/oil them beforehand! Bondage tape will let you safely get to the next size at your ear's own pace.

I wouldn't, like addictedt0chaos mentioned, the bigger you go up the more you shouldn't be skipping sizes or waiting only a couple of weeks inbetween.

If you want your ears to be safe and happy, wait a bit longer :)

thanks all for your replies! i actually waited another week and a half before stretching... stretch went well, getting the jewelry in was another story as i did not have concave tapers so it was a bit tricky, but i eventually got them in... i had some issues after that with the jewelry (single flare stainless tunnels), so after a week i cleaned my ears and swapped them out... once i did that everything has gone nicely... no soreness or tenderness... no swelling and the stretch is healing nicely! i take them out every other day to clean them and clean the jewelry as well as apply vit e oil and/or neosporin...
