Hi people. I'm from the north West England, near Manchester. I went picking magic mushrooms in Wardle (if anyone knows the area) in September, but alas there was nothing growing then. So I tried again a couple of weeks later and still nothing. I tried again in the first week of October and still there was nothing!

I always thought september was the best time to go, so I'm wondering if november is a good time? I would just go to find out for myself, but with it being quite a trek away and with me working long hours it's hard to get the chance.

    Cheers.

Nah mate, we've fucked it. Hit -2 about a week ago so our little friends are probably very much gone until next year. Although I haven't checked, I'm pretty sure.

Late July to early November is a good time scale to check around, but I have picked liberties before in June - keep looking. You been picking before? May have been in the wrong area, but also may have missed them - it takes a while to get your mushroom goggles.
Very often, I see one and pick it - then suddenly notice a shitload more hiding in the grass beside the first.

Yea I thought I might have missed it now. There's an area I've been picking in before so I know where it is, although I should've also tried another area I know of but with working a lot I don't have much time or energy left for it.
