Hello everyone! So during the last few years, sometimes, i have hyper realistic dreams that end up being true.. I mean, it's not like "I dreamed about that the other day.." It's like.. I have a dream.. The next day certain episodes from the dream end up being real, sometimes on the dreams, i just remember "frames" but those are the ones that end up being real. The most "amazing" episode i can remember was during EURO2012 (soccer competition) when the italian striker Mario Balotelli scored a goal against some team i can't remember now.. But well, seconds before he did it , i had like.. a quick frame shown in red on my mind with him scoring a header.. Well and he did ! I was like ... "What the fuck !? Why didn't i told he was about to score so people could believe me, fuuck!" . And this was a different "episode" as i never dreamed about this.. I don't believe in a "God" , but i do believe in "something more".. I have a lot of nightmares about being in a religious "war" between divine beings.. Weird stuff, the last one i had was the most weird thing! I was walking on a populated subway, when suddenly a guy dressed with a coat approaches me and said "You're the prophet".. It was a really weird dream, because it had other events that i honestly don't want to talk about, but nothing major. Mind that i don't believe in any of these "prophet" things, it was a dream, and a dream only, still i wonder why my "nightmares" are always about religious stuff, and the few normal dreams i have, normally, turn up to be real the next day, and it's about stuff that i don't have any influence with.. I know i could just "make it happen", but i don't..
I've had several prophetic dreams, but they happened more frequently when I was younger. Sometimes they are straight to the point and sometimes they are symbolic, leaving me with a chilling deja vu type feeling. Has this happened before, or did I just dream it? I ask myself this question a lot.
I have had several dreams where elements of an individual dream have subsequently transpired later in my actual life. When this happens, I get a strong sense of deja vu, even though the exact event only took place in a dream, rather than being an actual event that had happened before to me. As if somehow that dream element was actually a glimpse of the future. Strangely, like the above poster, this seemed to happen with much more frequency when I was younger, although it does still happen ocassionally now. What is the cause of this, or even if there is a cause of it, I have no idea whatsoever...
Note: this is my Opinion more than anything factual... I think the reason for having these things happen more as children is the hardening and "calcification" of the Pineal gland... We do know that the Pineal controls sleep and dreaming because of the Melatonin secretion via this gland. We also know that this gland becomes less able to do this as it hardens with age... Beyond these facts my opinion is just that... Opinion. Pineal
i think if you consider the ammount of things that happen per day and the ammount of things you dream/think about per night/day, chances of you being right a few times are pretty high, in fact, it would probably be more remarkable if you NEVER dreamed of anything that happened later, or never predicted anything accurately. to ascribe this to some kind of power is to significantly underestimate the ammount of things that happen. sounds like deja vu to me, mathematical probability is pretty much on the side of coincidence on this one...
It's the feeling described as "Deja Vu" - one I know much too well. Such "frames" or dream-flashbacks happen to me virtually everyday. So often in fact, that no longer do I take heed of them. Although I must admit, it would be interesting (and quite useful) to remember, or atleast keep note of some, prior to them coming true!
Well, I have had this on occasions. The scariest one was when I was about 8 years old and saw a bad car accident before it happened.... So, I do think it's possible. And everything is connected, so it is conceivable.. I just think we haven't found the way to tap into it yet...
They've always said we only use 10% of our brain... What do you think the other 90% would be used for?
some things you've dreamed first do latter happen in real life, or place you haven't been before other then in them. this isn't so useful for predicting anything though, because you never know which dreams these are until after they've been fulfilled, nor when they will be. nor even, entirely how, nor how you'll actually be affected by it when and if they do. any of it. it does sometimes happen, but that's about it. well its just like, its just the same, when you're awake, if you consider enough possibilities of things that can happen, then sooner or later some of them will. that's all. its just the same thing with dreams.
