Two and a half years! Not much change, just getting longer! I think there's a few extra congos going on in there and a bunch of baby dreadlets too. My friends think they're disgusting, I think they're cute...

Why would they be disgusting? Dreadlocks can be kept as clean as any other hair while not being anywhere near as boring.

 

I can't wait til my dreads get to be that long. So far they are like a third of that length, but then again I still have a long way to go, mine are only 2 months.

It's just the little baby dreadlets, like small bunch of non dreaded hair with a small clump of dreaded part at the end, that they don't like lol. It's no problem

They is getting all old and mature now. A wise set of dreadlocks indeed. Shame I can't say the same thing about myself...

I've been letting them do their thing and go a bit wild recently so have got a whole heap of new congos happening, forming some big funky fat dreads... One of which is my new baby beaver tail starting to form! It's about 2inch wide and only about 2 inches long so far, but made up of 4 dreads (one of which is already a congo of 2). There's another one of 4 dreads and a few chunky 3 dread things as well, plus plenty more with 2.

Cam, I am so glad to see you are continuing your dread journey! I'd like to think mine would have been a fraction as cool as these are if I hadn't cut them off!

I definitely still think about getting them again, but I think I have to get my health in order first, somehow find a way to stop my scalp from suffering so much when I dread.

Ah dude, they would have been so long by now! At least down south now you wouldn't have to deal with the northern heat sweltering amidst the mass of hairs.

I'll have to wait till mine beef up a little first. Currently I imagine some big old guy shaking hands intimidatingly with a small weak guy, who knows just how hard he can shake. Though the high five version of that scenario. And the dreadlock version of that...

also it's nice to see that your loose hair sorted itself out nicely, my boyfriend's are about 2 years and look so much like yours did then, tis nice to see how they might look in a year!
