Vendor possibly sent the wrong chemical

Swim recently ordered a gram of 3-meo-pcp. The powder had a fairly strong chemical smell that reminded swim of the smell of DMT somewhat. After receiving the chemical in the mail he proceeded to try smoking a tiny amount (a couple milligrams) on the end of a cigarette. Effects began immediately but felt like a synthetic cannabinoid. Swim has reason to believe that the chemical is in fact 5fur-144 and NOT 3-meo-pcp. What should swim do? Should he do further experiments to try and determine for sure whether or not it is the wrong chemical? Should swim contact the vendor and tell them it is the wrong chemical? Swim needs some advice here.

 

Once you give them the money in a mail order arrangement, it's usually "you get what you get."

I would consider yourself lucky... a lot of people don't even receive anything. Wouldn't hurt to talk to the vendor and see if it's a possibility that you rec'd the wrong chem. If you could further confirm on your end what your sample contains, then it would help your case talking to the vendor.

If nothing else, you have a lesson in where not to shop.

However, good on you for not diving in on an unknown chem and possibly hurting yourself. Yet another lesson for the community, to always test a smaller than normal amount to confirm what you have is what you have. Thanks for sharing your experience.

i would ask the vendor if it's possible you got the wrong product. i wouldn't ingest more of it if that's what you mean by "more experiments."

Swim has emailed the vendor explaining that he believes the powder he received is not 3-meo-pcp. Still waiting to hear a response with what they will possibly do about it.

Everyone should certainly be cautious whenever testing substances...there's a possiblity that it's something different than what they said you were getting and it would be disastrous if someone thought they had something with a dosage in the 100mg range but had mistakenly be shipped an extremely potent chemical with single milligram doses or less and snorted a fat line or something.

 

swim should have a better laboratory, for analyzing his chemicals not intended for human consumption..

 

It turns out the vendor claims they shipped 5FUR-144, a synthetic cannabinoid like SWIM thought. Don't understand how they could think he ordered 5FUR-144 when he said 3-meo-pcp but apparently he has a gram of 5FUR-144, and they are claiming that that is what he ordered.

 

Swim would not be ordering from them again. Thats a big fuck up on shipping the wrong chemical.That is what gets people killed.Well that and dosing unknown chemicals.

no it came in a big plastic bag folded inside of a vacuum sealed foil bag inside of another vacuum sealed foil bag. There was chinese writing all over the package. no label on the powder just a clear bag

 

Contact the vendor And say there must have been some sort of mistake l usually they'll be kind enough to do a reship. You must have reasons for why you think it's this other chemical right?

 

Yes, I contacted them telling them I thought the packages were mixed up and they replied telling me that it was 5FUR-144 that had been ordered. I don't see where they got that since i specified the CAS #. I think I'm probably gonna have to accept it and just put the stuff to good use. I am quite sure that it is infact 5fur-144 as the effects match descriptions of the effects of 5fur-144, short lasting but does not cause as much anxiety as AM-2201 Interestingly an unrelated vendor (not the one that sent me the package) gave me a price quote specifically for 5FUR-144 when I asked them specifially about 3-meo-pcp. Where these Chinese vendors get that 3-meo-pcp is the same thing as 5FUR-144? Sure was hoping for some dissociatives. I'll definitely remember the need to test new chemicals in tiny amounts before doing larger doses.

I've heard of this type of thing happening, but never had it happen myself. I don't know if it's more common now but I don't trust dealing with the chinese vendors as much as I did before.

Maybe it's "vendors" who got a bunch of that shit, and heard they can make big money selling it to americans as any chemical that americans ask for.....

 

Wow that's no good. Definitely would make sure to tell the vendor that SWIY will not be ordering with them again and will be writing reviews detailing SWIY's experience at any venue would accept them if they don't work with SWIY to resolve the situation.

Maybe if SWIY would resend them the transcripts of original correspondence.

Wow is all I can think..I would tell them what the consequences could have been. And depending on how they act is how I would respond. At the least they should apologize then send your original product.

I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

This news is truely dread. As a long time vendor and consumer, its bad news for the community.

 

That sucks. I placed my first order today with a company in the UK, i hope they don't fuck it up or rip me off.. Does anyone know of any real suppliers of research chemicals??? I recently got ripped off by a site. I started to check safeorscam.com but thats a 50% if the reviews are legit.. I am not a cop!! I hate pigs!!! I am on probation for 5 years and can't use my normals drugs of choice so i thought id experiment with these research chemicals. If you need proof im not a pig i can give you a website link to my local newpapers website and you will see my name and my charges. Damn snitches!!!

 

It is so important to test your shit people! Bunk Police have some nice kits . . . seriously, run a Elrich, Marquis, Mandelin . . . THEN do a super low dose personal allergy test. THEN start with a series of low doses, working your way up to your sweet spot and ensuring at each step along the way that it's what you are looking for and that you are not having an adverse reaction.

And yeah, screw that vendor. Shame on them. The lack of quality control on their part equates to a criminal level of working against the principles of harm reduction in my opinion.

 

I would avoid the 5fur-144.

supposed to be one of the sketchiest -> it can cause acute kidney failure in some people (not necessarily with chronic use either)
