I suppose the professional piercer informed you of nothing.

no they did give me an aftercare sheet, just wondering if anyone had any extra tips or problems they might've come across.

& good news, I can still successfully play my flute. lol

Be careful when chewing you may bite the lip ring. Is it a flat back stud or is it a lip ring?

I had to change my flat back out for a ring. The flatback was cuttings into my gums. Why gauge did you get it done with 14g?

Sea salt can work wonders. Dont touch them either, I know its tempting but when I had my nose done I kept moving the ring and it ended up really swollen and painful, I did the same with my eyebrow and the same when I stretched my ears, I don't learn lol

Yeah, I've been having a hard time with that. I can leave my nose piercing alone, but it's hard to with my lip piercing, I keep moving it with my tongue. lol My lip was pretty swollen this morning...

Just be careful with the flatbacks, sometimes the inside skin/gum (whatver its called) cn grw over it. Happened to my little cousin... and it happened to me with my cheek piercings, well just to one, when i changed the bar down too soon!
