What paper do you read (if any!). I now a lot of people just read online news now as it is easier and has a bigger spectrum to choose from but I enjoy reading a newspaper in the morning - maybe i'm just old-fashioned. I read The Guardian. I Used to read The Mirror but got tired of reading Cheryl Cole stories on the front page - I do miss Andy Capp though and the Brian Reade page.

As for the worst, i'm torn between either the Daily Mail or The Sun - both detestable wastes of space.

Guardian online when I get the time, Metro when I'm dodging doing my work on the train (always bearing in mind that it's a load of trash, of course).

Sometimes I leaf through my in-laws' Telegraph just to play the "how much bollocky right-wing propaganda can you spot on a single page?" game and draw knobs on Cameron's head.

guardian, bit of the independant, but mainly online news tbh, read the metro on the bus every morning and the telegraph when im staying with my parents because, no matter which way you feel about its written content, its hard to deny it has the BEST cartoons (matt and alex ftw)

also the daily mail when im waiting for a haircut, because its a complete joke and i like a laugh when im nervous about having my locks shorn.

I read the New York Times online and a few selected prints from Germany/Austria/Poland.
I find the news online much more beneficial. Physical newspapers are always filled with crap about celebrities and everything that isn't news. Man, mostly all the headlines tell you nothin anyway. So much useless information. And I don't fucking care where the local celebs were seen buying clothes or having a meal. There's bloody pull outs and sections for celebrities. Who really cares?

    Papers in australia are hilarious!

'the prime minister and his mate were bashed by an old lady today' is actually one of the headlines I read...

Also a wonderful article in the only national paper available in WA which stated that the reason for the floods and drought that year was God's punishment for underage sex!

    Genius!

I used to read the Independent, but now read the cut down version, the i
as it's a fifth of the price and takes less reading time which suits my, er... extremely busy lifestyle

New York Times and Philadelphia Inquirer. When I lived in England I read The Times, despite its owner it seemed the best paper, tragically.

Register Guard when in Oregon,Fresno Bee when in California. Both mainstream. The best is Eugene weekly which is very left and good for music and movie reviews. It's the closest paper in content to the LA Free press and the Berkely Barb from the 60s.

It's The Mirror and The Sun for me. They're the only ones you'll find lying around where I work. And I only pick them up to see if there's a crossword to be done. I go online for news and regularly check the sky sports news app for the latest football talk.

I agree with Sir Humphrey Appleby who said that,
    "Newspapers pander to readers' prejudices."

I read the small, more managable version of The Independent.
What i miss about The Sun is I could read about all the crap reality TV and soaps so when those topics come up in conversation either at, work or with friends I could join in
