Eid ul Adha Lesson - The promised renaissance of Islam.

Peace be on you. Grieved Condition of Muslims. Condition of Muslims had deteoriated in all respect by latter part of 19 th century. Everyone of them was hoping someone would come to lead them back to mutual love, re-understand of human values, reinstate their lost glory, unify them and to establish the Unity of God again.


Renowned Muslim poet of that era Hali grieved as:

Neither their power remained, nor respect
Left them, the company of their prestige and wealth.


Knowledge and skill, one by one, from them, departed
Their excellences, stage by stage, erased.


Neither the Deen (the Way), nor Islam is left
Only the name of Islam is left.

His long poem still well describes the current state of Muslims.



Leaders or commons of Muslim societies are focused on personal gains. Their focus is on personal gain. In the past, only worldy leaders were pursuing for that but now religious leaders have joined them too, in groups and parties.


In the past, there were neck cuttings on the name of sectarianism only. Now added to that, on the name of political parties and jihadi groups, Kalima reciters are killing other Kalima reciters.


The poet Hali mentioned their incurable conditions more than 120 years ago in his poem and today the situation has grown even more horrible. A part of these people has become blind with greed.


Hali’s Dried Tree. Hali had further cried that once which was the green graden of Islam had dried:

Nowhere any greenness in that
Green branches of which droped dried.


The same hopelessness prevails today too.


They are not hearing the Call of God. Leaders and scholars are pushing common people into destruction. Sadly, those who cried at themselves did not accept the Call of the Caller, who came from God. Instead, they persecute those who has accepted the promised Caller. Perhaps for such clergy-scholars, Hali had said symbolically:

No flowers and fruits, it’s produceable
Whose (dried) trees are into fire, burnable.

Those scholars who spread disorder instead of teaching peaceful religion are likened dried trees. Dried trees are useable for burning purpose.



The green Tree emerges amidst the decline. Only that tree can give benefit to world, which is planted by the Hand of God. According to the prophecy of The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), it was to be planted at the time when condition of Muslims and their clergies was to decline. This declination was foretold in Hadith. Five of these mentions:


1) Hadhrat Ali (may Allah be pleased him=r.a) narrated that Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: Soon such era would come that there would be nothing left of Islam except its name. Nothing of Quran would be left except words. Mosques would be filled but empty of righteousness. Their scholars would be the worst of creature under the sky. Troubles would emerge from them and to them they would return. [Ref: Mishkaat]


2) The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: Upon my Ummah ( time of) disturbance would come, people would go to them in hope of guidance. Then they would find them (as) monkeys and pigs. (i.e. of mean character) [Ref: Kanzul Ummal]


3) Hadhrat Thalbatal Bohrani (r.a.) related that The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: Soon knowledge would be snatched from the world to the degree they would not have any power on that. (they would not think anything of knowledge and wisdom). The Companions asked, O Messenger of Allah, How the knowledge would be seized while The Book Of Allah is among us and we would teach it to our children. Then The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: Did the Jews and Christians not have the Torah and the Injeel (Gospels). But what benefit did they have? (means Quran would not be acted upon and wrong explanations would be there, true understanding of Quran would be absent.) [Ref: Asad Al-Ghaba]


4) Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Umribnil Aas (r.a.) narrates that he heard The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: Allah would not seize knowledge from the people suddenly. But it would be finished by the death of scholars. When there would remain no scholar, people would make the most knowledgeless person
as their leader and ask them matters. Those (knowledgeless leaders) would issue Fatwa (shariah decision) without knowledge. Thus they would go estray and would make others estray. [Ref: Bukhari]…….[These days some people in TV shows get phone calls and present instant-Istikhara. They open some book and find news for people. They are using religion to make money…. 5) Hadhrat Abu Huraira (r.a.) related that The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was talking to people in a meeting. A villager came and asked when would al-Sa’ah / the Day of Judgement come? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) continued talking. Some people thought maybe he (s.a.w.) had listened but did not like what the villager had asked. Some people thought he (s.a.w.) had not listened. When he (s.a.w.) finished his talk he said: Where is the asker who asked about the Day of Judgement? The man said: Here I am O Messeneger of Allah. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: When trusts would be wasted then wait for Day of Judgement. The man asked: How trust would be wasted? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: When the important work / government would be given to non-deservings then wait for Day of Judgement…. (i.e. the destruction of nations by dishonest rulers) [Ref: Bukhari]


Situation in not good in any single Muslim country. How true is what The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said about their rulers and clergy; how such type of people get guidance from knowledge and Holy Quran?


The Hope. But the Muslims are not like other Ummah / people. Corruption in faith was promised to be corrected. It is called the best Ummah.


The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) assured about coming of his ardent devotee for Ummah and humanity to restore lost glory of Islam and to gather all Muslims under the flag of The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). It is extremely important to accept this message and accept the Call of the one who has come to bring lost faith back [from Pleiades…..as per prophecy of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) when he explained the verse Chapter 62,verse 4 : Bukhari]



Eeveryone acknowledges that the condition has deteriorated. Is it not, then, essential to believe the prophecied cure for The promised renaissance of Islam?


Voiceless organisation. It is said that half of the world is occupied by Muslim governments. They have an organization. Instead of its prestigious effect on Muslim world, it is voiceless. Moreover, no one in Islamic world cares about it. It was made to create solidarity but each member is facing in different direction.


Violation of human rights on the name of God. Unfortunately, Muslim countries have most terrorist organization, most killings, most power-greed related cruelities, looting of the citizens, brutalities with woman etc. All this is done for the sake of getting rule and on the name of God, shariah and Prophet of mercy for humanity (s.a.w.).



The Great Eid, The Eid ul Adha reminds end of customary human sacrice. It is the Eid of sacrifice which reminds: By the commandment of Allah Hadhrat Ibrahim and Hadhrat Ismael (peace be on them) presented sacrifice which ended the then ongoing custom of human sacrifice for ever. Cheap human life? But it is sad to note that human life has been made less important than animals by bombers in Islamic countries; they turn innocent people into scatterd pieces of meat. When children go out, their parents are not sure about their safe return. On the day of Eid, a blast took dozens of lives in Afghanistan. Syria is having trouble; government and rivals are not doing justice. It is said that terrorists are playing their part too. It is wisdomless sub-human condition. Such troubles are not confined to one country. Scores of lives are being wasted in Pakistan, Afghanistan, African countries and Arab countries on the name of Honour and Religion. Incidence of shooting at fourteen years old girl Malalah has attracted a lot of attention. She is said to have written reports about certain groups; they tried to justify shooting at her by making knowledgeless wrong inferring from Surah Al-Kahf. They did not understand the metaphoric message to end immorality and do correction of self. Such illetrate acts provide opportunity to opponents of faith…. [The promised Messiah (a.s.) has come to grant true knowledge and understanding.]…….. According to some people, this episode is calculated one because many girls like Malalah and their families have been injured but no attention was given to them. Whatever is the reality, Muslims provide opportunity to opponents by their own hands and get objections.



Kalima at tongue is present but sense in heart is missing, Idols, Hajj. Prestige of Muslims is low in the world. Their organization is useless. They seek help from others. Turkey and Syria are fighting; citizens are losing lives. One Western writer says that Turkey is acting at American advice. Only God knows the truth about it but the Western writer found courage to write it because Muslims have no power and seek help from West. They are away from the true teachings of The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). By tongue, they recite Kalimah: ‘La elaha illallah Muhammadur rasullullah’ i.e. There is none worthy of worship but Allah Muhammad is His Messenger. But hearts are empty of the sense of these words. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) cleared Ka’abah from idols. But Muslims today are carrying idols of lust to gain authority. During Hajj, circuiting around Ka’abah is symbolic representation of love-circuits around The Unity of God but hearts of many of followers are circuiting someone wordly. Traditions tell that once God did not accept Hajj of all those who perfomed it. But the Hajj of one person was accepted who could not attend the Hajj. Because all the money he saved to go for Hajj, he donated it to his hungry neighbour’s family who had not eaten anything for days. The community of Proimised Messiah is stopped to offer Hajj. God knows whose Hajj He accepts; Community’s or stoppers who apparently go there?



Unity of God, Purpose of Ka’abah, Great Prophet, Peace, Corruption, Revival of Faith. Reality of Unity of God has been forgotten. For this Unity of God, Hadhrat Ibrahim and Hadhrat Ismael (peace be on them) raised the foundations of Ka’abah. They prayed that a great Prophet be raised from their progeny to serve Unity of God, Purpose of Ka’abah and world peace. The prayer was accepted; The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) was sent, idols were removed and Unity of God establihsed and Muslims became ambassador of peace. But after some times corruption was to take over Muslims too. Now it is the time when Shirk (making partner with God) has made its way in Muslim socities in various forms. Islam was to get revival again. To eradicate this Shirk ( making partner with God) and other weakneses in latter days, The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) had prophecied about coming of his ardent devotee Promised Messiah so that once again Faith and Unity of God is infused in hearts and glory of Islam should come. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) called this devotee with utmost love as ‘ Our Mahdi’ (He s.a.w. also called him Promised Messiah).



The Green Tree. When this promised revivor of Faith came, Faith had so much declined that it was being called (dried) Tree as we have read above in poet Hali’s lamentation in the latter part of 19 century.


Inspiringly, God revealed to the Promised Revivor of Faith (The Promised Messiah Mahdi): “O Ibrahim, upon you be peace. We have chosen you with pure friendship. God will correct all your matters and will fulfill all your desires. You are, to Me as My Unity and Solitary.” [Ref: 1891, Tazkira ]

This devotee’s attentions and pains to establish Unity of God were accepted by God; He he was called ‘O Ibrahim’ by God as Hadhrat Ibrahim of Ka’abah was loved by God…….. God revealed to him: “Gharasto laka be-yadi rahmati wa qudrati wa inakal yauma ladena makeenun amen” [ Ref: 1893, Tazkira], Translation: I have planted for you with My Hand, the Tree of My Mercy and Power, and you, today, near Us, is person of high status and is trustworthy.

and

”Dohata Ismael” [8 February 1906, Tazkira], Translation: Great Tree of Ismael.


Thus from all this, one concludes that the grand Tree (of Islam) which grew by the prayers of Hadhrat Ibrahim and Ismael (peace be on them) for peace and through Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) did not dropped dried….. (Yes, metaphorically saying some waste wood for sole purpose of burning etc has been produced in the form of illetrate unpeaceful power-hungry clergy and leaders.)……The promised ardent devotee (Hadhrat Ahmad) of The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) started to restore the great Tree to full green blossom and with fruits of Unity of God. The Tree is being revived from the roots of original Tree. The Tree has the properties of Muhammad and Ahmad. Corrupt clergy cannot separte Ahmad from Muhammad. They can temporarily shake the Tree but cannot do damage.


Promised Revivor’s and his Khalifah’s Full Trust in God. The Promised restorer of faith (Promised Messiah Mahdi) said that God granted him success in all fields and his opponents were disgraced. They issued decrees of infidelness against him and they did their best. Fight could not be fought against God. Their opposition caused his progress. (Currently, opposition on TV and web activate pure natured people to find the reality and they eventually find the truth.). He and his Community were planted by the Hand of God and no one could uproot God’s plant.


He said: “Upon me, hardly any night passes, in which I am not granted satisfaction that I am with you and My heavenly forces are with you. Eventhough pure hearted people will see God after death but I bear witness of His face that even now I am seeing Him. World does not know me but He knows me Who has sent me…………I am that Tree, which The True Owner has planted by His Hand. The one who wants to cut me, its result will not be other than he wants to get some share from fate of Karoon, Yahuda Iskrewti, and Abu Jahal. I wait daily with reddened (with wait) eyes that someone should come in field and, at the precept of Prophethood, have decision, with me. Then see, God is with whom. [Ref: Spiritual Treasure, vol 17]


His Khalifah trusts in God that no one can damage the Tree of God. It will spread through ardent devotee of The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). He also says to his community that each Eid of sacrifice reminds that they should be ready all times for any sacrifice of life, wealth, prestige and time whichever may be needed. Community members should sacrifice for each other too to end any dispute so that time is consumed in constructive activities; trust in God who can fulfill the loss by leaving the right. Only presenting animal sacrifice or remembering sacrifice of 4000 years ago, is not enough. Sacrifice on all level is to be presented. He prayed and asked community to remember in prayers: The families of martyrs whose blood is nourishing the The Tree, Incarcerated ones, Financial sacrificers, Devotees of lives, All those who are in need, Muslim Ummah (for their improvement and for they get understanding) and for Humanity (its safety from destruction).
