Invitation to the Northern California Memorial Regional Rainbow Gathering

We, who are brothers & sisters, children of God, families of life on earth, friends of nature & of all people, children of humankind calling ourselves Northern California Rainbow Family Tribe, humbly invite:

All races, peoples, tribes, communes, men, women, children, individuals -- out of love.

All nations & national leaders -- out of respect

All religions & religious leaders -- out of faith

All politicians -- out of charity

to join with us in gathering together for the purpose of expressing our sincere desire that there shall be peace on earth, harmony among all people. This gathering to take place beginning October 29, 2012 and ending November 5, in the Six Rivers National Forest & to hold open worship, prayer, chanting or whatever is the want or desire of the people, for six days, but upon the fourth day of November until noon to ask that there be a meditative, contemplative silence wherein we, the invited people of the world may consider & give honour & respect to the brothers and sisters who have left this world, and to anyone or anything that has aided in the positive evolution of humankind & nature upon this, our most beloved & beautiful world -- asking blessing upon we people of this world & hope that we people can effectively proceed to evolve, expand, & live in harmony & peace. - Amen -


This gathering is held with the intention of collectively healing from our loss, and grieving for Coco Oudom who was taken from us too early. As such, we humbly ask that this gathering be a respectful and sober safe space. This was the consensus of the41-person council that called this gathering, and it included a mix of drinkers and non-drinkers. This is an alcohol free gathering. If you want to drink on halloween, you can take it to any of the other festivals and concerts happening that day, instead. This is a request, not a demand. Loving you, family.

On Sunday, November 4, we will be doing a morning of silence, broken at hippie noon in the main meadow with an OM for peace and remembrance.

Things to bring to the Northern California Memorial Regional Rainbow Gathering, in bulk if you can:
-TARPS
-Trash bags
-Buckets (5-gallon is great)
-FOOD
-Extra warm clothes
-Fresh socks
-Space Blankets, Blankets, Sleeping bags
-Tobacco (DONATE 2 NIC@NITE)
-Duct Tape
-Rope

Come PREPARED for rain! Come prepared to work and support the community. This is a last-minute project, and we need all the help we can get.

Take highway 101 toward Fortuna. Get on to highway 36 East and go 47 miles. Turn right onto Mad River Rock Road and go 2.9 miles. Look for rock piles on the right. Welcome Home! We love you!
