Hey Lily, lovely to meet you!

I've just given a Halloween party for the grandkids, little Shaun said it was the best night of his life! He's only 6, so if he thinks that party was cool, he's got some pleasant surprises in store for him in his life! They all had glow in the dark bats to take home with them. I've just sat down now after washing up and more or less putting the house back together again. Bob the Bastard is feeling ill, so I've made him a peppermint tea and he's gone to bed.

Bob the Bastard is my hubby. That is his nickname, not my opinion of him! And for the record, he is a lovely, compassionate, generous guy!

very nice to meet you too :sunny: feet up lady... sounds like you deserve it! LOL, i second what roamy is asking... who is Bob the Bastard? you live fairly close to my favourite place of all time, Silbury Hill... Wiltshire is next door to Somerset, yes?

thanks for the welcome roamy :) yes tea would be good... your goats obey you? that's amazing! i had a goat once and he was very, well,... goaty,... arf... in that he ate EVERYTHING within reach... and i mean everything... actually, it was such a long time ago, he might've been a she... can't quite remember... i don't remember milking her though, so she must've been a he... maybe i'll remember better when i'm a little less tired...

Yes Wiltshire is next door to Somerset and we are actually very close to the Wiltshire border, only a few miles. We are reasonably close to Silbury Hill and Averbury and the Kennet Longbarrow, but also close to Glastonbury and the Tor as well. It's a good place to live, friendly people and beautiful countryside.I love living here.

I don't have a nickname (as far as I know!). I didn't give him the name, he had it when I met him.

Lost another post... Puter behaving weird... Had a powerful shamanic healing during a Silbury visual meditation some years back (coincidentally also involving a huge flying reptile - thinking of yer sketch MamaPeace :) ) and a recent visualisation involving moonlight bathing the entrance to West Kennet Barrow... Think ill live in that area one day... Planning a pilgrimage from the Magna Carta site at Runnymede in Surrey to Silbury sometime earlyish next year... Yes, a lovely area MamaPeace :)

Thank you! My cousin insists it was another place but I didn't think that was it. Longbury... Please, if you have any link you could send me so I can research it I'd be so grateful.
