I found my way here while looking for information about people who've chosen to live outdoors full time. Not just to escape the frustration of civilization, but to encounter the bliss of simplicity. I have a 25-pound dog and I'm currently traveling around in search of some karmic epiphany. Closest I've found so far is the redwoods of northern California. I saw them for the first time a couple months ago and felt like I'd stumbled into a sacred space largely under-appreciated by those I encountered while there. I aim to go back there when the weather warms up but until then, I'm floating around the Southwest in my car, with my dog, and not much else. I'm here looking for kindred souls, and some practical insight along the way on how to shed the myths of civilization and to recover the bliss of simplicity. I look forward to what surely will become a whole new way of being, and a whole new circle of friends!
