Hey. I'm 20 and yesterday had an intercourse with a girl for the first time. I haven't been circumcised and my foreskin covers the whole penis. However, this foreskin retracts only a little when the penis is erect, not fully how it's suppose to be.

Every time I tried to retract the foreskin by myself more, it hurts and its just can't be done. When I was having sex, it wasn't pleasant at all because it hurt too much. I'm not sure why, but I think its because my skin was being forcefully retracted every time. At the end, it was about 30% pleasant and 70% pain, and I felt like a girl loosing her virginity. I think my penis even went numb from the pain and I didn't even felt if it was inside the vagina or not (the girl was enjoying herself, so I assumed that it was fine).

However, due to this pain, the penis gets softer. It is erect normally, and as soon as I put in the vagina, the skin retracts forcefully, it hurts, and the penis gets soft.

What should I do about it? Is this a disease? Do I need to see a doctor? Thank you!

explain it to a doctor and hopefully you have one who will try to help instead of immediately taking the easy way out (cutting)

I used to have this problem when I was about 6 years old.

Forcefully pull the foreskin over the entire head of your penis every time you wash it, and it will get better. Won't even take too long.

Nothing to worry about, man :)

Good advice about retracting the foreskin regularly when not erect. Hopefully that will eventually resolve the problem.

Slightly irrelevant, but why were you trying to retract your foreskin at 6 years old?! It is normally not supposed to be able to or done until teens...

I had almost the same problem, don't worry, it's not a big deal. Every time you masturbate, retract foreskin just a bit more, until it stats to hurt, then stop.

After week or two, you will probably be able to retract your foreskin completely with minimum amount of pain (if any).

Also when you're soft, try to retract it and keep it that way as long as possible.

Only in extreme situations circumcision is required.

Actually retracting/stretching the foreskin as a young boy, is actually a good thing.

When I was little, about 5 or 6 years of age, my pediatrician told me to do that for health reasons, so you could learn basic hygiene in how to keep clean and not let too much smegma build up.

Of course you don't want to use super strong soaps, but very mild to wash that area.

So I recommend the stretching before any serious surgery is even considered.

I believe that paediatrician was in error. At age 5 to 6 the foreskin will be very tight and there is still the possibility of some attachment to the glans. That advice could well lead to injury.

That's all well and good. The fact remains that the foreskin of a child should not be forced back because it could lead to injury and there is no compelling reason to do so at that age. In most cases the foreskin retraction will come naturally at a later age.

    See http://www.doctorsopposingcircumcision.org/info/info-forcedretraction.html

The relevant section is "Basic Male Anatomy", about halfway down the page.

Yeah I don't remember it being the most comfortable experience. I should clarify that I was not told to pull back to the point where my entire head was shown, just a little bit to wash the smegma out.

The reason this part of the body was even brought up was because my mother and I didn't know what the smegma was and thought it was something bad.
