If marijuana was legalized then does that mean that we would be seeing teenage children smoking on the streets? What good would that do?

Do you think they're not now? Legalizing marijuana wouldn't mean that kids could smoke dope. Just like booze.

What it would mean, for me, if MJ was legalized, is that I could be pain free in this state that has no medical MJ laws.

well yeah, i'm sure if it was legal we wouldn't stop seeing teenagers smoking on the streets the way we do now.

i'm pretty sure every plan for legalization does include a minimum age though, and i think most also involve not allowing it to be done in public. you know, like alcohol.

Cannabis users SHOULDN'T be prosecuted says commission that likens taking illegal drugs to 'eating junk food or gambling'

Government should focus on 'damage limitation' rather than wholesale banning of drugs, says UK Drug Policy Commission

The independent advisory body says people should be allowed to grow cannabis for personal use at home

It adds that 'taking drugs does not always cause problems'
Findings condemned by campaign groups who said drugs 'are illegal because they are dangerous'

Smoking cannabis is just like eating junk food and shouldn't be a criminal offence, a controversial report claims today.
The UK Drug Policy Commission says drug-taking is simply another 'moderately selfish' or 'risky' behaviour, similar to gambling or a diet of burger and chips.

It also says it should not be a criminal offence to grow cannabis for personal use. And rather than trying to ban drugs completely, the Government should concentrate on ensuring that addicts take substances 'responsibly', the report's authors say.

The teens that want to smoke weed are still smoking pot if it is illegal or not.
At least if it was legal the teen would have to try to get it from a shop of which you have to be 18+ to enter the doors and not in some hood or apt somewhere.

For one thing,it might get the Mexican cartels out (oat-for you Canadians) of the Sierra Nevada.

Why shouldn't people be able to use a natural-growing plant for whatever they/we want? Because a change of consciousness is not desirable for the ruling class. The zombie treadmills must continue. And you/I must go to jail if we don't follow the script as written by them.
