    Hi y'all

I joined the site a few months ago but haven't been on for a while. I was living in a camper while looking for a boat, which i now have........along with surplus camper! By the by now I'm living on a narrowboat that's in need of much renovation.....but it's fun and inexpensive and close to nature and above all cheep. I've me some nice people but to be honest some are really boring and still live in the mainstream world, have jobs, watch tv and read newspapers so they've got nothing to talk about lol.

Going from just a caper to now having 2 boats and a camper I'm looking to start a travelling community picking up boats as we go and hopefully getting rid of the camper or hopefully trade it for a small van.

All this aside if anyone fancies escaping the world, if only for a few weeks, get back to me.

I'm in Cheshire on the Bridgewater at the moment but moving north shortly. Sleeping arrangements will have to be mixed and communal as will everything.

    Doug

I built boats in the Keys and I'll tell you there's truth to the saying " a boat's a hole in the water you pour money into.".....
