I suppose this is a bit like that question Janice asks in Friends, have many people from this site met up and fucked? Is it a common thing to happen or if it is does it get hushed up in private messaging?
A nursing forum I used to go on seemed to have a lot of it going on and lots of drama spilled over on to the board which was a shame because the forum was good fun and had a great 'free love' sexual energy to it until sexual politics spoiled it.

I've had phone sex with a few guys from here, nothing more and it has been fun (this is NOT an invitation nor solicitation) but I was just wondering if this or meeting is a common thing on this forum?

 

Hm.....possibly, yes I would think so. It there is a willingness, and accessibility, it is very tempting.

 

I have had two situations where there has been both interest and accessibility, both times though I was already seeing someone and of course was upfront about it. I guess I cock blocked myself, ah well. If I was single or my girl gave permission then I would be into it.

it's certainly happened. not to me though, i don't think any women on here live within 200 miles of me.

i found it rather entertaining in the past when the drama spilled on to the forums.

 

This happened a few years ago on another forum (completely unrelated). It ended up with reports of under-age sex, people hating each other and the dissolution of that particular board.

If it wasn't for those risks, of course, every woman on here would be having sex with me.

Yeah...forums have trouble with the age verification thing. The underage thing happens a lot unfortunately, and the older party doesn't exercise self-control.

 

Along with people lieing about there age , there is gender faking . I dont know about this forum , but I did see it on an adult chat room . You do hear on the t.v. news of some one meeting some one else they met off the net , get robed, raped, or killed . I guess I got burned too many times on that chat room to meet up with some one for real . desert rat

 

It is very possible. I know of a few people who have met and became really close to each other, some in more ways than one.

The problem is cybering with someone that you learn is underage, even if you learn after the fact that they are underage, the law is going to prosecute you.

Also tons of young teens now wear the label of a sex offender because they've sexted with other kids within their community.

The laws on sex crimes are horrifically outdated with the pace of technology and how that technology is used in the romantic/flirting/sexual side of our world. (context was USA law, I can't speak for other parts of the developed world. As for the under developed world...what law?

 

I wonder what the percentage of actual sex versus talk of sex is for members. 0% for me so far.

 

I have met 6 people from this site in person and I have slept with 2, almost 3. One of them turned into a 7-month long relationship. The other one was just a fun weekend, even though I would have been open to the idea of it developing further, in retrospect, I'm glad it never did. As for the third person I mentioned, the farthest we ever took it was dirty pics and sexy phone calls because there were a lot of outstanding factors to consider.

However, I used to be a pretty shameless flirt on this site and even had some saucy pictures up for a while (under my original profile,) but I have curbed that behavior as I've gotten older. Also, I started seeing someone a year and a half ago and we're living together with plans to marry, so the need/desire to flirt (and sometimes follow through) is no longer existent.
