    Hi,

I guess I will just introduce myself. I was born in India, graduated from the top engineering university of India, became a US citizen, worked as a programmer for several years in the US. But I was unfulfilled and empty inside. I went on a 10 month, 5000 mile hike from Canada to Key West. The hike changed my life and gave me confidence to believe in myself. Then I moved from the US to China and became an artist.

Stumbled into this site while searching for interior decorating tips. I have a new art gallery and it looks a little empty. Hence the search for tips.

OK. That's it from a newbie hipster.

Sounds like quite the interesting time...India to the US, to China. I guess I'm a little biased (OK, more than a little :) ) but I can't see moving to China from the US. Very interesting. Would love to hear more on that evolution.

    Welcome to the forum!!

    Hi,

Moving to China from the US is VERY interesting. Moving to the US from India is not. Many people do the second one - too common. The first one is special. I have been here 9 years and absolutely love it. China is a misunderstood country especially in the US. The reality is very different from what the media idiots say it is.

Anyway, I am not a very normal person. I follow my heart and dont care what others think. Here is my web site for your amusement

Regards and love and other good stuff!!

    Ha, ha,
But seriously, if promoting my site is my objective, I'm in the wrong place.

    so you're an Individual, eh?

I wonder what early influences on yr life impelled things to turn out the way they have for you? your surname indicates a conservative upbringing ... for example ...

might yr parents have left publications by J. Krishnamurti lying around the place?

anyway ... it's good that yr here. and I 'll check yr website.

Yes, im an individual. Some things - Im conservative, some things - Im liberal. I have not read or come across any J. Krishnamurti's books.

That's what Krishnamurti was on about ... being yourself. His thing was that an individual needs to see the
Authority that governs 'normal' viewpoints, values, religion etc ... and reject them.

that needing another's point of view will certainly NOT get you through [life].

    cheers!
