Sounds like quite the conundrum...if you are suggestive about it, does he turn away from you forever? If you don't say something, then you will still be friends, but will you always wonder? I have complained to coworkers about not getting any from my wife, would I mind if the offered some "services"? No, not only would I not mind, I would take them up on the offer. Now I am getting divorced from my wife, and she has found some items to make her think I am gay, or bisexual...let's me be free to try things.

If its not at least kind of obvious, I would think its a bad move.

    Also, wife.

I would think twice about adding a sexual component to a friendship. If a dude is a guy I know, and not much more, I'd consider messing around with him. If this changes or eliminates our "friendship", well, so be it. Life goes on, anyway.

If I consider this other dude to be an important friend, I'd stop and think hard about it. Sex changes the dynamics of your friendship. Sure, things can also get better. Or worse. Mostly, sex simply takes over. For a while, all is good, fun and games. Later on, things may turn sour...

that is easier said than done, esp when there is mutual physical attraction involved. then the thinking part usually just flies out the window....

though you're right sex can take over, and if things do turn bad it's usually irreparable. but i'm usually okay with that too since i'm more an all-or-nothing type of guy anyway. what's life worth if you never take any stupid chances? :)

That kind of thing happens in porn all the time, go for it!

I would ask, but it certainly would depend on how I acted around that person. For some people, me asking them if I can suck them off is a normal thing to hear from me.

    This is poor advice.

I tried to pay for a speeding ticket today by ripping off my shirt and making love to the police woman.

    Now I'm in jail.

I'm starting to believe the social constructs in pornography do not cross over effortlessly into the real world.

    Really?

I would have thought that crossing peoples personal boundaries and infidelity were the issues here, not promiscuity.

If this has happened more than once, I'd bet that is his way of opening the door for you to ask him. Otherwise, why would he bring it up more than once? Does he have a habit of repeating himself? Next time, just say," Are you trying to ask me something? in a kind of joking manner, and see what happens.

I wasn't trying to be fair. You are right. If the first thing you think of in this situation is sucking somebody off or sleeping with them - It is a bit slutty, though.

I just don't see 'slutty' as a huge problem, but yeah; your first thoughts of your friends should be of them as people not playthings.

Everything is easier said, especially here on the boards, than in real life.:) I guess, we all agree on this. Unless it is you who is actually involved, much of this is simply an exchange of more or less personal opinions...

I see your point though, if you really are, an "all-or-nothing" dude, you are right to go after it. For the others, a serious thinking pause can be a good course of action.

I usually have plenty of opportunities to have sex anyway. Sure, messing around with some of my straight or seemingly straight-turned bi buddies would be a hot idea. But there is possibly a lot to lose, and little to gain...

If I were a bit starved I'd be probably looking at this from a different angle.

i would be very careful, he may tell others you asked him.

you might ask him if he would go to a hooker for a blowjob and try to work it in the conversation if he would let a guy blow him. you could also try to find out if he is against gays, if he is then forget it!!!
