I've smoked DMT through a pipe before but never had the chance to vape it. I recently got an arizer extreme vape, but unlike the freebase pipes and vaporgenies, this is digital with a limit of 500 degrees F. So can I use it for DMT or am I just better off with the sandwich method? I bought the vape more for bud so I wont be too disappointed if it doesn't work
vapor genies are really nice, though ive found the sandwich method to be very nice, one of those metal bowls you can buy with the screw on top. some ash, some spice, some more ash, the top, patience and practice If I remember correctly 140 is the melting, 180 is the burning? possibly 220 is the burning. so if you where going to set your vape my best guess would be to do it at about 160 or so, though i feel like it would be a slow steady hit, you gain tolerance really fast so your first hit needs to be fallowed by a second after a brief period of holding it in, then if you can manage to squeeze a third in if you want to go that far. this may not be as controllable as a lighter. Id say save the vape for bud, get yourself a vape genie. The taste of bud in a vape is amazing and as much as i enjoy spice, its not worth changing the taste of your vape with spice and keeping it to give off that awarding flavor of nice bud in the vape
I think the way to go for vaping it is probably a log style vape where you control the amount and speed of the hot air going over the spice. I have an Underdog Vaporizer (look them up, probably some of the most efficient and heaviest hitting vapes on the market) and I loaded some changa in it (it comes with many different stems, so it will never alter the taste of future bud if you just use separate stems) and my friend and I got INSANE level experiences in just one lung full. Also amazing is the ability to 'sip' it more, just go slow and take a short inhale, then you get about a 4g mushroom trip for 20 minutes. Keep in mind that this is with changa and not freebase, though I assume both would vaporize at the same temp. Vaporizers with temperature settings are never that accurate anyway, because the measure the heat of the heating element, or the dormant air around it, they dont measure the temperature of moving air over the product.
I second this. I am always able to blast off with my genie and the proper amount of spice. Just be careful if you also smoke bud out of the genie. I have gotten a nice surprise from doing that before. That resin at the bottom is still very potent.
