10mgs of ambien does nothin to me what so ever(It used to!), i even tried it this last mroning and i went along with my day with no noticable effect from the ambien threw-out the day...so now im having to drop anywhere from 20-40mgs of ambien each night just to get a "almost full nights rest" sometimes having to redose. Much like tonight i wake up at 6am and im totally awake so i pop a 2mg Xanax Bar (Alpralozam; its a benzo) and 20mgs of Ambien, 100mgs Benadryl. mind u think is all goin on at 6am....well im off to try and sleep some more...bye

Hi. I have built up a tolerance for ambien. 10mg keeps me asleep for 3 hours. Then I take 5mg and sometimes another 5mg.

I need some help with finding doctors. I need to say the right things. Help.

that's exactly what you do..see if they can change you to a different med maybe. No doctor is going to give you a script for triple the normal amount becasue someone says they have tolerance now. Well not any normal doctor.

Yes some meds you do build tolerance. But you don't want to live on ambien the rest of your life do you?
