Yesterday Romney rolled through town on his bus (with a huge entourage in tow) His stop was a local restaurant around 2:30. I tried to stay as far away as possible but while walking Grace (dog) at the cemetery, we were walking back to my car around 4 pm I heard police sirens. I looked up toward the main road and there went his bus escorted by police motorcycles and cars, several black vans, and a couple other buses. I just keep trying to tell myself that in a month, one way or the other, this crap will be over.

 

I hope Its over soon.
In my opinion, someone who needs to be escorted by police, black vans and other vehicles, whilst driving around the country he is planning on running, is not worthy of running that country. If you need to protect yourself from the people then your obviously not doing a good job. If, in an ideal world, we HAD to have a leader then the only person I'd ever vote for would be a chilled out, casually dressed friendly candidate that had the balls to walk into the poorest or 'roughest' part of the country with his arms opened wide and hug the people. Otherwise I'd not vote even though I don't anyway.

 

I agree with both the above posts.American and British politics are dire.No one worthwhile voting for.All the people in power are very well off and totally out of touch with the common or even "not so common" people.Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Howdy....:coffee:....ya'll....had our two female cats 'fixed' yesterday, neither they or our four toms are sure what's up.

 

I remember when I did that for my first cat Cinnamon. The vet said to restrict jumping and stair climbing for a few days. I brought her home and put her down and she flew up the stairs to my room. So much for restriction.

 

I'm just dropping in to say hello and I'm still alive! We have moved house (it's GREAT!) but are still not online. It's gonna be a couple of weeks still, but I haven't forgotten my old buddies at the Hippie House and will be back soon. Love and hugs to you all.
