    A Free City

A city with minimal regulations, and no tax other than one on property. (no income tax, no sales tax, no tarrifs/imports, etc)

Sounds interesting.. Better bring a gun though... I could see it turning into something else entirely.

Since there would be no tax, cost of living would be incredibly high as well. Think Barbados...

It is an interesting concept though.

Where would you rather be? the USA, Canada, Europe?

If you live in an enclosed self sustaining place (compound) anywhere is pretty much the same. Think compound in the middle of Afghanistan, as long as you don't leave the compound, you would sometimes never even notice you were in the middle of a hot desert with people intent on killing....

I wouldn't want to live there, but it's going to provide for some lulzy times as it all unravels.
