    I'm interested in buying a reusable syringe for my own personal use. I know there are reusable glass syringes made for diabetics. However I'm also interested in vintage WW2 era and older syringes purely for aesthetic reasons. Would it be better to use a modern glass syringe that I could use with disposable luer needles? I don't want to hack up my veins any more than necessary. Also, the possibility of contamination is an issue. How would one decontaminate a vintage syringe or modern glass?

    Best way to sterilize anything is in a pressure cooker. This is what I do with all my materials when growing mushrooms. 100% effective.

    depending on where you are located OP just buy packs of the throw away insulin syringes. they are cheap or free in many places and if you want you can use the a couple times before throwing them away. The less you use an individual one the better, but still, you get the idea......

    Just google reusable syringes and there will be a ton of information.

    what personal use exactly btw? lol

    For inquiring minds, I occasionally use junk but would also use it for any emergency first aid.

    I'm assembling a "go bag" with various first aid stuff. Also have jars of nalaxone.

    Thanks for the tips.

    Hey, going to the hospital can break the bank when you don't have insurance.

    +1 Rep.

    Hahaha hell yeah. When i lived in my apartment in Philly I had a little kid always had;

    A few brand new and maybe a couple used spikes( that were still in good order.)
    A couple colt 45 tops, my preferred cooker at the time
    Cottons in a little bag to decrease contamination risk.
    Ever one of those plastic tourneys they use at the Hospital and what not as a tie.

    It was all super discreet. Didn't always bring it when i went out to cop but having everything in good order was nice.
