its gonna be like 6 at least before you see locks if you arent working on them and letting them dread alone
back combing can get faster results

I'm just gonna say spraying with salt everyday seems like a bad idea. That would dry your hair/scalp out wayyy too hard.

i spray mine with a salt water mix probs 3 times a week, buuuuuuuuuut my dreads are nearly 4, so they can take it.

maybe start wearing a wool beanie or something, to cause friction (and help form knots).

instead of spraying, just add a teaspoon of salt into your baking soda/oil shampoo mix! that is what i've been doing and it's really helping my hair knot

Too short. Stop messing with it.

When it's twice that long, leave it the hell alone, and it will lock right up..... if you stop counting the seconds.

Your hair length should be fine as long as its 4+inches, I've read that dreads will form in hair of that length :)

dreads can form any length, its just better/easier with longer hair, and youre more likely to see progress with longer hair. just chill and give it time

Yeah, you might get a few to form.

They will lock very slowly until you have some length.

I speak from experience, but this is also bloody obvious....

Also, locks that form in short hair will look funky, especially compared to the later ones.
