Hey TTL, theres a bunch of various data cables sitting around here waiting to be tossed, what sort of phone or camera are you looking to transfer from?

Would you mind a small dog? My boyfriend and I live in AL and are looking for a commune that will let us bring our 6 year old chihuahua.

hey my girlfriend and I are going to be passing through the Lexington area in a couple weeks; We were thinking about stopping by to hang out with you guys for a little bit. I have some experience building stuff, so I could help out with the cabins.

    Hi !

If you folks are still looking for others to come out and join you, i'd sure be interested.

My name's Chuck, i'm in Virginia Beach Va, and i'd like to get the heck out of the big city and join some small farming group, maybe like yours.

Are you ready for this winter? Just curious. How many out there now? Did you grow any food this season?

If I drive out there, I can just live out of my camper van for the time being, and plan on mybe coming out for maybe a week or 2 a the very least, to meet you and check out the whole scene. Would that be OK?

Oh yeah, do you have city electricity right now?

I do have some good exp with small farming, small farm animals, and would like to at leat get involved with those areas for starters.

    Please do reply !!

    Very Best

    Chuck

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in awhile, I left Kentucky alittle over a month ago. I plan on going back but I wanted to get some travelling in before it gets too cold. Took off hitching and got back to CT (my home home) like a week ago.

    Anyway, I have some pictures:

... I realize these pictures don't answer all your questions, but I only had few pics I'd taken. So hopefully they help alittle bit.

WOW! Looks amazing and answered about 95% of my question, and looks like theres not a whole lot of need to do any quarrying for stone to build with. (But a cliff face dwelling might be fun to try? :D )
And the 5% is just wondering if theres much Clay in the area but on 850 acres I bet I'd find some somewhere.

Glad to see the Morlocks didn't eat you as we had feared. :D

Any of this facing east? would make for quick hot water if the flow was strong enough to work a water ram and keep your fresnel flash heater flowing?

I live in Louisville, and would definitely be interested in spending a few weekends out there in the summer. That looks like a great swimming hole, is the water deep enough to jump from the cliffs? Is that water connected with Lake Cumberland?

I have plenty of experience with building and fixing things, I'd love to help out with any projects going on. My dog Grace has more love to share then any creature I've known...

Keep in touch here at the forums :)
