my first post referenced the fact that you seemed to be posting directly to anonisacat and ignoring everyone else that posted in the thread.

my second post referred to the fact that you didn't correctly use the quote function (by accidentally deleting the start quote tag you ended up just showing my post as your own followed by the end quote tag), and then when anon quoted you the end quote tag that was remaining in your post was read as ending her quote, so the end of the quoted post appeared as her own followed by another end quote tag. if someone were to then quote her and not edit it, the same thing would have happened, hence the chain.

i think that explanation was more confusing than the original statement i was trying to explain.
