Waiting for my script- what should I do in the next 5 days- anyone have any suggestions for highs/etc? My tolerance to Vic is pretty high as obvious, and I hope I can discuss these things here- I take mine for pain and enjoyment.
first, try to get your doctor to put you on a better synthetic opiate. jk... buy some on the street, or try to find suboxone if the withdrawal is bad enough.
let me preface this by saying im an opiate addict who has been on buprnorphine maintenance for almost a year. ive done codeine, heroin, and everything inbetween. i only say this to let you know ive been in your situation many times and i know what your going through. Now unless the withdrawal symptoms are so bad you cant function, i would recommend just waiting it out. after 5 days of abstinence you tolerance will have gone down a bit. if the withdrawals are making things unmanageable there are many things you can take and do to help mitigate the symptoms. if you feel you must go out and find something to tide you over i recommend you try to get hydrocodone or some opiate with equal or lesser potency. the absolute worst thing you could do is go and do a hard opiate like heroin or oxycodone. if you were to do that you would have a much bigger problem on your hands. if your hydrocodone script is not helping enough with your pain talk to your doctor about it. if your honest with him/her there's a good chance he/she will either up your dose or switch you to a stronger medication. if you decide to stick it out PM me and ill do what i can to help you create a regimen to minimize the effects of the withdrawal and make the next few days more pleasant. best of luck -Blitz
I've had my doctor increase my dosage of Hydrocodone about 3 times. Hopefully I'll be able to go on Zohydro when it becomes available. Anyway, I know your 5 days are up by now, but in the future try to get your hands on some Gabapentin. It really helps with wd's.
Hydrocodone withdrawl? Totally not a wakeup call.... better get your script upped, and cop some dope in the meantime.
