Looking for a good place to pitch a tent in Northern Ontario mid-September. Please don't tell me that it's too cold. I posted my request on the North Bay kijiji and was told by 3 different people that it's too cold to camp now. I've camped in a snow bank before so I think I will be fine.

I'm bringing my wife and kids up for a short vacation. Was hoping to meet some new people and find some fun things to do.

Anyone know of some good festivals going on? Or a nice place to stay with interesting people?

I know about Crown Land. I was just wondering if there was one place that should be experienced over all the others.

We found a nice spot to camp at the top of a waterfall.

It was a bit chilly but we each had 3 blankets and a sleeping bag so it was all good.
