The first time I ever tripped on lsd was when I was 16 and took 4 tabs of some decent stuff...It was the first time that I actually felt a major (not complete) disconnection from this reality. I remember going on philosophical tangents about how our government is trying to kill us and I also had many visual hallucinations. The ones that were the most profound to me was that at one point when I looked at the ground, I was completely convinced that there were snakes crawling and morphing together (much like the the snakes unlocking the gate to the basilisks lair in the 2nd Harry Potter film). I also noticed that when I looked at plants or trees it seemed as though they were growing on me; like a time lapse of something growing. My complete spacial awareness was distorted and the landscape I was in (the outdoors) seemed to morph and split apart and then come closer and then further away from me.....when I was on acid my thoughts went through my head so much more fluidly and I realized I could talk really fast without studdering or misplacing a word. Simple things also really intrigued me and I got a lot of gratification just by starring at a squirrel crawl through a meadow of grass and I took great interest in that. I felt as though I was actually there....almost as though that insignificant occurrence was all of reality its self.....While tripping I was devoid of all anxiety and depression that I've felt previously and I felt an ineffable universal sense of oneness.
Good stuff, on my last acid trip I had a similar sort of interest and gratification observing various animals and I relate with pretty much all of what you said except the conspiratorial thoughts about the government.
haha it was funny; I went in to order a pizza with my friend (who was on ~ 10 tabs at the time) at a pizza place and noticed that the tv depicted a swat team brigade pushing back protesters and that just sent me off..... Ordering that pizza was really fucking hard hahaha
i've watched a few squirrels on acid. they move so fast. you don't really see them move either, you see them in one spot, and then immediately in another spot. if you watch their tail it seems to shift positions, but you don't see it actually moving. i also really like watching birds while dosed
