I just begin a collection 1 month ago of vinyl right now I got 4 jimi hendrix.
Bold as love, electric lady land, the experienced , valley of neptune. I will start beatles soon. Hope you enjoy just for fun

 

cool start of a very enjoyable hobby. are they old pressings or the newer Sony/Legacy editions?

so far I only have 2 Jimi Hendrix albums on vinyl (Rainbow Bridge & The Jimi Hendrix Concerts) and I´m considering the Legacy re-masters for the 3 Jimi Hendrix Experience albums.


the rumour that the 2009 Beatles re-masters finally will be released on vinyl later this year are getting stronger. recently even Abbey Road has gone out of print

 

It's worth considering getting the Hendrix Band Of Gypsys record.
Really excellent Funk/Rock with the classic 'Machine Gun'.
The only live one put out in his life and produced by Jimi.
Then you will have all the original albums.

yess i consider getting it but i am poor at this moment but yes band of gypsys is essential ! I tryed to get it used once but some got me a higher bid on ebay.. QQ. Anyway peace -Jérémie

 

Keep saving and searching.
All 4 different pressings of Band Of Gypsys I've heard have all sounded good so I think any clean copy you can afford will be worth it.

hahaha, yeah , I've had about 3 copies of the US first press and they all showed signs of having been enjoyed... a lot.
