If you live in NY, how do you feel about this? If you don't live in NY, how would you feel if this happened in your state? It seems the main problem was that businesses weren't offering smaller drinks and created Big Gulps (64 ounces of soda) not based on demands but on sales. Now everything over 16 ounces cannot be purchased at a time (in the same container). Personally, I very rarely if ever drink soda. I think what should have happened was to just get businesses to openly offer a smaller beverage, a cups worth of soda. I believe it's within everyones right to choose how much they can consume. Everyone is an individual and has the right choose what they do with their own bodies. Link : http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/01/opinion/a-soda-ban-too-far.html?_r=0

lol.. I don't buy big gulps , but I think it should be the persons choice if they want to or not. I don't think soda drinks should be banned. In my opinion it is kinda ridiculous to ban soda. With everything else going on in the world I think a 64oz drink being sold should be the least of our worries
It's all about the government having increasing control over our lives under the guise that they care about our health, when clearly there is an obvious agenda to make people sick and unhealthy, hence the reason so much of the country is disgustingly obese as the government subsidizes pretty much anything that is toxic yet consumed in mass quantities by people. I mean, the government has enabled things to become so out of control, then once they do become out of control, they use that as an excuse to take away our rights and dictate to us what we can and cannot consume. Personally, I think all soda is poisonous shit, but if people want to drink it, that is their choice and they are the ones who will have to suffer the consequences in the long run. Michael Bloomberg is a fucking POS.
