The federal court in New York just ruled indefinite detention UNCONSTITUTIONAL and issued a permanent injunction against use of that law.

Of course we all know it's all Obama's fault...

BTW there is a petition here... Demand Progress

It may ask you for your email and stuff. They all do these days. I've been with this group for about a year and don't get spammed to death... Although I'm sure I'm on some list the CIA keeps buried in D.C. somewhere. I'm with a lot of these groups. :D

Well that only took a mere ten years, ah the wonderful justice system. Amerika, what a country. Wonder what that means for those secret prisons? I heard they were putting in ovens if Romney gets elected.

Actually, no. This has to do with NDAA 2012 and it's indefinite detention clause.

There are plenty of "christian terrorists" causing mayhem in this country. Like the one that made that Muslim hate film that caused the deaths of four Americans in the Libyan embassy a couple of days ago.

Then there's the Oklahoma City Federal building bomber, he was a right wing republican.

Recently there was the Sikh temple killer, another christian terrorist.
And the Colorado movie theater killer.

There are over a thousand American hate groups thinking of doing terrorist acts. Klu Klux Klan, Aryan Nation, Skin heads, just to name a few.

America needs to clean up it's own, instead of trying to be world cop.

Good post Tyrson! Of course, I hope you're not excusing Obama for his actual faults. I mean, people talk alot on HF, about how the president's a puppet. Well, if Obama's any better than Bush, wouldn't he have said 'hell no, I'm not going to sign a bill that overrides due process of law!' But he didn't; he smiled and signed the damn thing with no questions asked.

So fuck Obama, but God bless this NY judge who declared it unconstitutional!!! Too bad she isn't president!!!

I openly speak out against government and attend protests. That's almost enough for the government and its agencies to see me as a potential terrorist threat.

If you're not down with the establishment, down with the system, keep your mouth shut and your head down, then you're a terrorist. I think by now, most of us know who the real terrorists are, don't we? :2thumbsup:

I like to think that the 65% of the populace (who don't support either candidate) do.

No, making a video is not an act of terrorism, and no act by another can be blamed on the creator of a video. The murderers of our diplomatic personell are to blame, not people who made a video that rightly denounces islam as a hateful intolerant violent childish religion..... the sort that would be used as an excuse for murder, when somebody makes a video. A fucking video.

I believe in freedom of speech as much as the next guy, but that video looks like it was made JUST to piss Muslims off. I mean seriously, how would christians feel if a movie portray jesus as a theif, a criminal and, a rapist? It would cause OUTRAGE. So if we can understand that, enough to not make movies that diss on jesus, why can't we respect muslim beliefs aswell? Because this movie was part of the plan, that's why.

ah, the ol' balance of powers, the good ol' judicial system.

It doesn't work half the time, but thank goodness for the times when it does.
