Don't know about that, but it sounds like sleep paralysis. It's where you're awake but still halfway dreaming.

I was lying on my bed when I was "magnetized" into a vision- ffffwooooomp!!!
While fully conscious(by that time- even if before I was sleeping[which I don't think I was]- I was awake), I came into the solar system from the the outside, passing one by one the planets 'till I came beside Earth. At that point, I had a choice to either keep going straight into the Sun or to veer to the left towards Earth. I saw on Earth there was a long table with Orthodox Jews(I'm Jewish) learning around it, and I decided to continue on towards the Sun, which I did until I was consumed by it.

I've had awake visions too. I assumed I was going crazy and was having psychosis but the doctors checked me over as fairly sane. Mine were different to yours, I was fully awake, half way through my day, I had someone elses life flash before my eyes, no idea who but it seemed like medieval times. It happens to me a lot and sometimes they are reoccuring.

It is likely your subconcious speaking to you, like it does in dreams but because you woke suddenly and were still in a sense dreaming, it continued for seconds then faded. It could well be your daughter, you will have to wait and find out! But i do believe seeing breifly into the future is possible, but at the same time your future changes everyday due to choices and actions in your present self/life.

theres a shared hallucination that comes with sleep paralysis- either an old lady or young girl at the foot/side of your bed (regardless of what gender you are, i believe.) fascinating stuff. i know you say you weren't paralysed but it sounds like the same dream archetype.

I had a strange one about three month ago. I had just woken up in the middle of the night and I couldn't move. I tried to force myself to say "help" but my brain just thought it, then I heard it echo (different voices) about 4 or 5 times, each voice louder then the previous one. Everything I thought it would echo louder and louder in the different voices (even when I didn't think louder). It scared me so much I think I probably passed out or maybe just cried a bit inside and then fell back asleep. Scariest night ever I tell you. Thought I was mad. Glad I'm not the only one things like this happen to.

I've had waking visions that were psychic, but they weren't like objects or people in front of my eyes like a hallucination - they were just mental pictures so vivid it was like being partly in a different place looking at those things.
