I am planning a trip with this girl Y and her friend X. The issue is that it appears no matter the psychedelic compound, X has difficulties with nausea. Both Y and I are known for pushing the envelope when it comes to psychedelics, but it is difficult when those dosages cause X to become violently ill. I know that usually a person who reacts that way to these drugs should just move on and assume that psychedelics just aren't for them, but this girl is very into psychological exploration.

Does anyone know of any amazing remedies for sickness caused by mushrooms or acid? We have tried lemon teking the mushrooms and we haven't tried anything else as of yet. Would ginger calm the stomach? Will anything? :biker:

PS, we know based on various reagent tests that these tabs ARE LSD-25 or another indole that isn't 5-meo-amt.

Ginger works very well for me, with the few things that make me nauseous. I've never had that problem with L, rarely with shrooms, it's usually PEA's that cause it.

    She could try

You could try that instead of lemon, but its VERY ginger-y. It's hard for me to get down just drinking straight, but it doesn't make you ill, it will help bigtime with nausea. Or, ginger candy just before.

I second the ginger suggestion. You can also buy crystallized ginger, which is quite pleasant to eat by itself.

    Marijuana?
I get a bit of an upset stomach on shrooms, but LSD never presents any physical discomfort for me..

Ginger and peppermints are what I'm told.

LSD should present no nasuea, shrooms probably will

I get nausea on shrooms more often than not. I rarely enjoy the come up on shrooms, and the nausea plays a big part in that, but if you can ride it then it's worth it. I've tried ginger sweets and they sometimes help a little. Also if you're tripping indoors, going outside for the duration of the come up seems to help combat the 'mental' side of the nausea in my experience. Plus when you go back inside it makes everything feel 100 times more intense (in a good way).

LSD does present with nausea, its just for most people its pretty light. Ginger and cannabis are your best friends :) Other than that, lying down on your back, fresh cool air

Alright, well I'll be sure to have my vaporizer accessible and I'll make us something with lots of fresh ginger root. And yeah, I've never seen nausea from acid before, usually I would assume that if it made someone sick it was either a heroic dose or it wasn't acid. I guess this girl has always had a weak stomach though.

    THANKS! :)

What is wrong with puking? trips get much better after that.

Or why not just fast before trip, maybe only eat salads the day before.

That ginger brew... lol... when I was in Mo'Bay last spring some of the locals made me drink some of that stuff when I'd had a little too much of too much much too fast. I somehow managed to crawl back off the beach... but man the sight of that bottle really brought what I thought I'd forgotten. I was trying to remember what the heck it was... glad you posted that pic. Next time I'm down that way I'm stayin' on the boat though.

That ginger beer is soo great!! I can't believe I never thought of using it to help nausea for a trip!!. It tastes amazing, and has got to be pretty healthy.

Just a warning though, some people find it VERY strong, it's a shame Ginger Beer never got big in the states
