Has anyone ever gotten there dog stoned?

One night me and my friends were smoking and they were drunk. One of them dropped some on the ground as he is stumbling around. Next thing we know the dog was eating something, he was stumbling around, and zoned out. I couldn't stop laughing at the dog it was so funny. Has anyone else ever gotten there pet stoned?

 

I'm sure somebody has.

It's not very nice though; they can't exactly say if they don't want to (and who are we to decide for them?).

 

I would never get my pet (cat) stoned, if something happened I would never forgive myself. but that's just me

were you ever stoned for the first time with absolutely no idea why you felt that way? that's how such a dog would probably feel.

i can't be too judgmental, i did help get a friend's cat stoned about 10 years ago. but no, i've never scared my dog like that.

 

I've never really seen any dogs want to get stoned nor seen any do well when they were forced to get stoned.

When I (used to) smoke outside, the outside cats would literally hunt me down and crawl all over me and put their heads in the smoke. I never, ever forced anything on them...no shotguns for animals from me!

marijuana is really REALLY bad for pets.

A guy i dated got his cat stoned a few times and the cat was fucked for the rest of his life...he'd act drunk and he started sucking on the end of his tail and he'd be paranoid randomly.

After doing some research a few years ago, I read up on how bad pot is for animals.

So, remember that the next time you're getting a dog stoned.

You can overdo it, which is not nice to the animal.

It's not a human and does not have the ability to research marijuana and then ask me to share, but I still think it's okay to share my drugs..... if it doesn't like it it will NOT come around when you have pot, many people's pets hang out and beg for hits.....

So yeah, animals can't consent.... but they also don't consent to being microchipped, taught to sit, roll over, heel, or gassed at the pound.... We live in a world where humans "own" other animals, and as far as the things that pets are regularly expected to submit to with no thought of consent, even by the nicest owners, it seems pretty laughable to deride people who are kind enough to share their marijuana with their pets.

My chihuahuas obviously like weed, but dislike smoke.... so they don't get it, generally. I have at least one old cat who loves to sit with me, and loves it even more when I have weed.

They don't consent the first time, but they sure as hell can after that. And I don't feel like a monster for choosing for them that first time.
That said, OP did it in a douchey way, and sounds douchey in general.

 

There was a dog in the Haight in the '60s who had quite a following as a taster/tester for years. The girl that owned him let him choose the kilos she bought.

My greyhound brought me my first pot when we moved to LA, a lid she ground scored. When she was 17 or so when she needed surgery her vet had us feed Sweetie a gram of good hash (she was a dope snob) saying she was too old for his gas etc.

Yes, im pretty sure my friends dog was stoned after we smoked a joint in her house.
She was squinting her eyes and walking funny.
She loved it ;p
I find that dogs really do like the smell of marijuana.
My friends dogs would jump all over me when i came over after just smoking.

If they hunt you down, and stick their (or his or her) face in it, that is one thing...but please, please don't put the cat (or dog or whatever!) in a box and blow smoke in it. night alive!

 

if you think you go to jail for just smoking weed.
let someone find out you abuse animals with cannabis smoke. youre fucked..
