Well since the thread is pretty boring so far, what gear are you using to record with? You would laugh if you seen my set-up but it works.
As soon as things settle down in the loft I was going to post some photos... It would be easier than creating a list of gear a mile long. I've always been into multiple amp setups with lots of chorus, reverb and echo. Probably my most epic setup was a Roland space chorus RE-501 feeding an Orange Graphic 120 halfstack on one side and a Sound City 120 halfstack on the other... That Orange would flap your pant legs if you stood in front of it.
All I have is an Epiphone Les Paul, a Strat I made last summer, and a broken Champ. I'm happy with my guitars but need an amp.
Live Carvin 1K PA Black Les Paul Fender Strat Plus Singleton Crossroads Egnater Tourmaster Fender Deluxe Maxon Tube Screamer Clyde McCoy Vox Wah Maxon Opticial Compressor DL4 Home Recording: here's a pic of my sweet little space I'm so grateful for. I have some cool Mics but I'd love to have a rack of P-Solo's instead of one and I'd love to have a Class a Hand wired outboard compressor such as UA 1176 or similar. GAS never ends! I love Music, If the Gods never gave it to us I would surely be dead of a miserable life.
Guitars: Jackson KV X10, Fender Stratocaster US, ZW Signature Epiphone. I use Drop C#, C# standard and D standard tunings. I'm looking to use Gibson guitars as my main guitars, as soon as I've got the funds. Amp: Orange TH30 Combo, I changed out the power and preamp tubes to Svetlana 6550s and EHX preamps. This amp is great for small venues. Pedals: I try to keep it simple when I'm playing live, so I basically got 1 wah, 1 fuzz, 1 reverb and delys (ehx cathedral), 1 overdrive, and 1 noise gate of course. I also never go on stage sober. Ever. Probably a lot more important than whatever pedals I use.
