Shaving clam is a fairly new phenomenon ,brought on,I"m sure, by the tendency of people to copy what they see others doing. About the same as buying name brand clothing. Faddish. Shaving the nether regions was never done years ago,but now with internet porn readily available and most of the women on there shaved --they must think that that must be what men want. Yeah,some do,but I don't think shaving should be considered natural. Clam hair grows there for a reason. But then again ,who cares what anyone wants to do about it. Shave it,dye it,hell-dread it. PS: I remember back in the good old hippy days of the 60s-70s, MOST girls/women had clam,armpit and leg hair. Very natural and I fuckin' loved it. Licking armpits while in the throes of passion is almost like having two more little clams to pay attention to.

A neat trimming is best.

It looks good, it feels nice, doesn't shed too much, doesn't obscure too much, tickle too much, or block up one's facial openings. Doesn't look child-like or barren; the hair still sucks up some of the moisture and odor, but not too much.

No negative points to a good trimming.
