peace everyone, My names joe just finished a peacecorps term and moved to fresno if you know abt it than you know shit stinks around here. b4 my year traveling i lived in nj in the woods with myself and my dog on a reservoir in a very rural part of nj and yea i was surprised there was such a thing too!. but now im stuck in the city because i had to refuel my funds which isnt rly working out so i came on the site to find sum one love folks to point me in the direction im looking for...i kinda already know im going north humboldt county or del norte trying to find a commune i can contribute too. thnx if anybody has sum advice lemme kno i have alot to contribute.
lol bobby indeed if you can stay out of fresno plz do for you own sanity.... as much as i apreciate getting a job here i still needa leave asap all day at work i hear abt dead dogs at a dog fight or chickens and it just disgusts me.....
Welcome Joe...I'm new here in the Hip Forums but have spent half my life in California. You sound like you have your plans worked out. I'm in Modesto. Last year there was some kind of contest for a new city slogan...I was going to suggest, "Well at least it's not Fresno!" Welcome to California :mickey:
I hope you have tried getting a little farther outside of Fresno if you have to work in that city. I lived in Laton, a tiny town 25 miles from Fresno. It was like a different world from the city.
