Several years ago, I went to my doctor as i had a lower back problem with pain sometimes. After recieving my xray results, I were told by the nurse that it was a degenerate problem & nothing could be done & that I'd just have to get use to it. So after that, I used tablets to relieve the problem. Recently after loosing so much sleep at nights thru the discomfort of my back, I decided to go back & tell the doctor that a family member had just mentioned of a treatment that he knew of, that was not mentioned to me by the nurse all those years ago. The doctor was puzzled as to why the nurse never suggested this originally. Now I am on sleeping pills to help me get some proper sleep & finally have started the treatment i 'should' have been told about! Because of the many hours of sleep I never had - I got very tired & could never feel well enough to go into full time employment as I were always very tired in the mornings & never felt wide awake enough to work 8 hours per day & my energy levels also declined recently even more, So thats why I decided it's getting too much to struggle with & now have a great chiroprator to help me more able to live healthier & stronger & to hopefully get my back completely sorted once & for all! Hopefully I'll soon be on the road to a geat recovery! Has anyone else had a similar experience with being misled by a qualified nurse or similar type person?
Of course I have! That's why finding a good doctor is important. Problem is, some of us (like myself) like to move a lot!
It was one of the nurse at the medical centre I go to that the doctor also works in as well. He's a good doctor & I have nothing against him - just the misinformative nurse. But now I can move on & feel a lot happier with the latest outcome.
